Acoss no worries I know you werent, I think I got a bit over excited as the news was breaking 😂😂

That CNN report Shock

So Trump's doctor telling the truth would make Trump sick?

See towards the end of this:

Conley again failed to answer basic questions about the President's condition and admitted Sunday that he had omitted those alarming drops in the President's oxygen levels during Saturday's news conference because he wanted to "reflect the upbeat attitude" that the team and the President had about his condition and didn't want "to give any information that might steer the course of illness in another direction."

I think we need this...

Jim Carrey as Biden on SNL...

It really feels to me like the end of days.

I am so afraid the election will get postponed.

We have all of that malarky to come.

OVienna · 05/10/2020 07:48

@Roussette Loved that Lenin quote st the start of the article.

Roussette · 05/10/2020 08:05

OVienna doesn't it just! Seen it more than once, and it sums it all up.
“There are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where decades happen.”

Listening to him again, I am honestly wondering if he actually has had it. Or if this is all a scam.

How convenient for him to say 'I really understand covid now' because it's real school not read-the-books school.

So he will now be the expert on it and if he can survive, and be driven round for his cult followers to see him, anyone else can just fight it like the true warrior they are... and survive.

Sadly not true given the photo I linked above.

OVienna · 05/10/2020 08:11

Based in the to-ing and fro-ing statements I think he's sicker than they're saying. Possibly? Then again possibly not. I'd believe just about anything could happen in the next month.

OVienna · 05/10/2020 08:14

The drive by was beyond odd. No one can day no to him. Surely there's a whistleblower in that hospital. I would hope the journos would be crawling all over this if it is fake, trying to find that person who would talk.

OVienna · 05/10/2020 08:16

@TheNorthWestPawsage

The thing is he wants the new judge in place to deal with the lawsuits post election.

I know everyone has reflected on this before. But: his certainty that there will be some just hits me every once in a while and I'm overwhelmed that it's basically...an election strategy.

TheNorthWestPawsage · 05/10/2020 08:26

Saw something yesterday about another big Trump tax returns reveal coming but can't remember where I saw it. So looks like this week may be a doozie as well!

Wow.

The visual impact of those empty chairs really does make the enormity hit home. All those bereaved loved ones.

Far more chance of making (even some of?) the Covid-minimiser brigade stop and think, than being bombarded by endless figures and statistics.

Let's hope the UK does something similar.

Roussette · 05/10/2020 08:30

Yes, there was...
And he wiped the floor with this stunt of Trump's

I think too, it's going to be a very rocky ride this week...

Looks like Harris v Pence is still going ahead on Wednesday

God he's going to be all "no one understands Covid-19 better than me" now. He's going to be the world's fucking expert that doctors "call up and call him Sir"

Roussette · 05/10/2020 08:36

Oh don't Bruce 🤣

It really really doesn't bear thinking about.

OK he's had the sympathy, Biden campaign can take the gloves off.
No more Mr Nice Guy

OVienna · 05/10/2020 08:50

@Roussette regarding the whistleblower I mean if it's not true. I hadn't seen that article though so thanks

BruceAndNosh · 05/10/2020 08:51

White House shows it doesn't care about its staff...
From CNN
The White House Management Office just sent its first staff-wide email since President Trump tested positive for coronavirus early Friday morning.

Until now, staffers had gotten no word about whether to come into work or to remain home given several of their colleagues tested positive for coronavirus. Stunningly, the email states they should not contact the White House testing office if they have symptoms.
"Staff should not go to the White House Medical Unit clinic for any Covid-19 testing inquiries," the email read.

One theory in all of this... they are letting Trumpy out to prove he is OK, so that he will be able to vote in SC judge Barrett, because if Pence had to resume control for a while, Pence can no longer break a tie in the confirmation vote.
Useful tool Trump is
