@Lweji
If he loses the election, will it matter which judges are in the SC regarding his lawsuits? Unless he blackmails them personally.
If he loses outright, no ambiguity, there shouldn't be any lawsuits. However, this is TEAM TRUMP. So.
The Constitution states that the Supreme Court has both original and appellate jurisdiction. Original jurisdiction means that the Supreme Court is the first, and only, Court to hear a case. The Constitution limits original jurisdiction cases to those involving disputes between the states or disputes arising among ambassadors and other high-ranking ministers.
SC isn't obliged to hear a case.They'd have to consider the basis for any suit brought by Trump and its suitability to be considered by them (as opposed to a lower court etc). I very much doubt vague 'voter fraud' would be a reason. It is exactly when you're trying to explain something like this where you realise you lack some important details but Trump can't just 'take it to the Supreme Court' cause that is what he feels is warranted, if the issue pertains to specific issues around for example voting irregularity in a state.
God knows what they'll try. Probably something unless it's a wipe out. Probably even then.
Maybe the results will be held up becaues all the votes haven't been counted, then he'll allege fraud around that. Probably hoping to drag it out so long we'll all forget there was ever an election.
