Rick Scott and Chris Christy have tested positive according to Twitter

Stephen Colbert said/joked that Merriam-Webster reported a 30,500% spike in searches for the word "schadenfreude" yesterday. Grin

Donald 'Scrotus' tRump....Superspreader in Chief.

Well, he always has to be 'the best' at everything. Looks like he may have found one way to actually achieve that ambition.

ludothedog · 03/10/2020 16:48

Watching the it's briefing. It's so interesting what they don't say - no oxygen today = oxygen given yesterday but not required today. His own Dr said that it was within 72 hrs of diagnosis. Which would mean the day prior to when he disclosed diagnosed it.

Refused to give details on when his last negative test was

Heffalooomia · 03/10/2020 16:59

I can see the scenario where he knew he was infected, didn't think would develop symptoms, but tried to pass it on to his adversary... Too cynic?
I agree, he would totally try to sabotage Biden by giving him covid

Senate Judiciary Cmte procedures to conduct business. There are currently 12 Repug and 10 Dems on the Cmte:

1- "Seven Members of the Committee, actually present, shall constitute a quorum for the purpose of discussing business."

2-"Nine Members of the Committee, including at least two Members of the minority, shall constitute a quorum for the purpose of transacting business."

There are 2 Cmte Repugs who have tested positive. The Dems are all threatening to boycott the meetings. But that still leaves 10 Repugs. Even if one more does test positive, that still leaves 9 and that's enough for a 'discussion quorum' as no minority members are required for that. And it leaves plenty to find the 7 GOP needed for the bi-partisan 'transact business' quorum (2 Dems needed).

I don't know why people are opining that if one more Repug Cmte member tests positive it 'jeopardizes' the SCOTUS process. To my way of thinking we'd have to have at least 7 'out of commission', because then there would only be 6 left and that's not enough to make the 'transacting' business' quorum.

🤷🏼‍♀️

so there's just been a press conf outside Walter Reed with his physician and all the Doctors treating him. All duly introduced.

I just find it revolting that there are 13 doctors there, all in their whites, all looking after him.
It just seems so over the top. I understand that there should be a news report but to have them all stood there just was a bit Shock
All individually speaking.

I can't wait for this man to not be President.

Such a nice man.

Attorney General Barr chooses not to quarantine despite possible exposure to Covid-19
www.cnn.com/2020/10/03/politics/william-barr-coronavirus-quarantine/index.html

Attorney General William Barr is choosing not to quarantine after recently coming in close contact with members of President Donald Trump's inner circle who have tested positive for Covid-19, including former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway.

Conway is among at least seven people who have contracted the virus after attending a Rose Garden event last Saturday where Trump nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. Barr, who was seen leaving the White House Friday night by photojournalists, also attended the nomination event, where he sat in the front row and was among those tested by the White House for Covid-19.

Following Trump's announcement, Barr and Conway chatted in close proximity, hardly standing the recommended six feet apart, for an extended period of time. Both were seen not wearing masks. Barr also shook hands with other guests, touched his face and mingled among the crowd.

Barr then traveled to Oklahoma for a tribal justice event this week and returned to Washington.

His physician refuses to answer the question.... 'when was his last negative test'

No surprise there

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie who helped Trump prepare for the Debate has tested positive

And this.... from Acosta of CNN which goes against everything just said by his physician outside of Walter Reed

Jim Acosta
@Acosta
The WH TV pool just received this quote from “a source familiar with the President's health...” - “The President's vitals over last 24 hours were very concerning and the next 48 hours will be critical in terms of his care. We are still not on a clear path to a full recovery."

lionheart · 03/10/2020 17:43

Wonder what is really going on?

TheNorthWestPawsage · 03/10/2020 17:44

Not tweeting is a good indicator he may not be well.

TheNorthWestPawsage · 03/10/2020 17:46

Plus no staged photo of him giving thumbs up whilst "working" in the presidential suite at WR hospital.

Lweji · 03/10/2020 17:48

The Dems are all threatening to boycott the meetings.

I would show up in full protective gear.

The Anonymous details contradicting the latest official medical report on Trump apparently came from Mark Meadows COS.

JamieLeeCurtains · 03/10/2020 17:59

I bet there's some some serious document shredding going on right now.

Happy hypoxics typically feel OK until very very unwell.

Yes and if you're sitting in a chair/lying in a bed doing sweet FA then you will feel fine. Then try walking, even to the bathroom, and it's a different story.
lionheart · 03/10/2020 18:50

I could see what's left of the GOP discarding him if it was expedient to do so.

Roussette · 03/10/2020 18:53

They will do anything to win. So yes.

Oh, so now it's a 'plague', is it?

Funny, before HE caught it, it was just a "really bad flu" that would "disappear when the weather turns cold".

Shows how fucking self-centred he really is.
