I think he's trying to create as much chaos and smokescreen as he can so he and his family can grab as much money and favorable legislation as they can before he leaves office. I also think he's trying to set things up so he won't be prosecuted (or will be acquitted) for misdeeds in office.

My mother used to fear that until all the people who had been rulers in WWII were out of power, the world was seriously at risk of nuclear war -- because they'd had a wonderful time during WWII.

Trump fills me with the same feeling, not that he enjoyed a war but that he may destroy the world to make a point, and I shall not be easy until he is out of power. I dread the time between 3rd November and January 20th next year, because his fury and fear at being ousted will know no bounds.

Me too, Asking, me too. I don't think I've ever prayed as hard to flip the Senate and/or keep the House as I am praying now.

Can you imagine the 'pardon list' he's writing right now? And the first name on it will be his own.

If so, this speaks a great deal to the lack of confidence military chiefs have in POTUS and his lapdog. The other option is POTUS knew; that is going down the road of treason.

The original tweet was dated June 12th but Trump Retweeted it last night. Surely this is imflammatory? (apart from the original tweet being bollocks as (a) rioters don't normally label their parked cars with bumper stickers and (b) the author also subsequently said it was a joke, but this was separate from the original tweet) There doesn't seem to be a way to report his retweet only report the original

Breaking via WaPo: In the hours before his Tulsa rally, Trump's campaign directed the removal of thousands of stickers from arena seats that were intended to establish social distance.

The removal contradicted instructions from the arena's management.

On Mick Jagger, isn't it ironic that his ex-wife Jerry Hall is married to the worst of the worst Rupert Murdoch, owner of Fox News. And there's good old Mick furious about the Stones music being used at a Trump rally. How convoluted it all is...
And to add to that... Jerry donated $500 to Biden's campaign in May. Apparently.

Also talking of Tulsa, I've just noticed that the guest who was flown in specially (flouting the US coronavirus rules), to address the overflow crowd they were expecting outside, whose speech was cancelled (thank you, K-Pop fans and Tik-Tok teens), was none other than Nasty Nigel Farage (also cancelled at short notice by LBC, I sense a pattern here, I hope, finally!).

I hate how Trump is trying to appropriate part of the soundtrack of my life. But can't see why he uses "You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometime you just might find, you get what you need" Surely Trump's angle is all about getting what you want?

128 days til Election Day, 206 to Inauguration Day. Time's getting shorter, the insanity is getting bigger. And it's going to get worse.

At this point, chances are nothing will be done by the House simply because we're so close to the election that there really isn't time to do the thing properly. Plus it would give so much PR 'ammo' to Scrotus that I think the Dem Leaders feel it would do more harm than good.

But don't believe for one second that they aren't storing up every little titbit of information and evidence. In fact I'm sure they have Constitutional lawyers madly researching and compiling, 'just in case'.
