Super JoJo vs. Cocomelon

This is a very important issue.

Are there any other parents of toddlers, who watch YouTube, and have seen both Super JoJo and Cocomelon?

I've been amazed at how Super JoJo rips off Cocomelon!! Sometimes even frame by frame! Most of the songs have exactly the same subject matter, different tune used to say the same thing, even the main baby characters, JoJo and JJ. Both have older brother, middle sister, mum and dad are the PERFECT parents and seem to never have to work but have beautiful mansion-esque houses with an abundance of ridiculous toys for the children to play with. But when I google it to see if maybe there's a reasonable explanation (like they're both made by the same company), there's absolutely no information about them.

AIBU to spend my days and nights obsessing over this trivial major issue? To contact the press and demand answers? Maybe start a law suit?

I always saw JoJo as a wannabe cocomelon. But my GC has moved on to Baby Bus.

I looked at the Super JoJo channel no I don't have too much time on my hands how very dare you and the oldest video is a year old and exactly the same animation quality. Cocomelon is many years old and has continually improved on their animation. I demand answers!!

Never seen JoJo, but I have a love hate relationship with coco melon. What age is JJ exactly? Can he actually talk? The animals are really all stuffed toys, right? But they can cook breakfast, apparently resulting in real food. And I want that breakfast.
The moral of the story is don't start thinking about cocomelon. That way madness lies. I shall avoid Super JoJo for my own good.

Not just stuffed toys - very carefully knitted soft toys that every stepford child in the nursery appears to have one of. The toys cook amazing breakfasts, terrible hot cross buns, plot birthday surprises, and the parents seem fine with all of the giant anthropomorphised toys dancing with them in their treehouse disco.

And the elephant helps JJ cheat on every balloon race!
Suspiciously they seem no worse for wear after getting dunked into baths, or covered in suncream. Def not normal toys...

I have lost hours of my life during lockdown to cocomelon. There are an infinite amount of videos on YouTube.

Tbh atm any parents I see who are smiling and happy with tidy houses I'm starting to hate....

Cocomelon is great but...

Don’t make the mistake of playing the ‘Are we there yet?’ song 15 minutes into a 6 hour car journey. That’s a hell I never want to repeat.

You'll hate Super JoJo even more then. Those parents have it ALL figured out. All the mum ever does is cook and clean and look at beautiful crayon scribbles her children draw for her. JoJo can talk, walk, use a potty, but when he sits in his high chair he becomes a drooling babbling baby like in Boss Baby.

Yeah... I need a new hobby.

I think we have seen super jojo, or another that's an obvious rip off.

DD prefers Baby Joy Joy now unfortunately.

I feel that I've come to a compromise with mine as they are not allowed to watch Dave and Ava so I will suffer through Cocomelon to be fair to them. DS loves to shout 'JJ!!' When I ask what they would like on the TV.

@HappyPunky okay now you've made it okay for me to say - I have the same crush . DP knows. He doesn't feel threatened. I think it was him walking to where his wife broke down to change a flat tyre that did it for me.

It's not the much him singing it, but cheerfully doing housework.

I like the watermelon song the best but my DD is awkward and won't sing it properly

Why are the parents heads so small. They kids heads are huge. I really dislike the miss appleberry ones they have just rehatched old songs.

I prefer the badanamu songs myself, the quality is far superior to cocomelon, the toddler really just likes five little monkeys.

They’re both crap according to my 2 year old - it’s Little Baby Bum all the way!

I think the music is better with LBB but the characters better with Cocomelon.

Never look at ChuChuTV. Abysmal.

I'm starting to get worried by how much my 16 month old loves coco melon. Full on trance or follows the action.

But then I like hot tea so.....

OMG yes! Team Cocomelon all the way. Although I think the Super Jojo house has the edge for me.

This is the soundtrack to my family’s lockdown.

In our house the order of preference is Blippi, Baby Joy Joy, Super JoJo, Cocomelon, ChuChu,TV, Little Baby Bum.

I miss the days when he used to watch a woman throwing animals into a bowl of water.
