Super JoJo vs. Cocomelon

Are there any other parents of toddlers, who watch YouTube, and have seen both Super JoJo and Cocomelon?

I've been amazed at how Super JoJo rips off Cocomelon!! Sometimes even frame by frame! Most of the songs have exactly the same subject matter, different tune used to say the same thing, even the main baby characters, JoJo and JJ. Both have older brother, middle sister, mum and dad are the PERFECT parents and seem to never have to work but have beautiful mansion-esque houses with an abundance of ridiculous toys for the children to play with. But when I google it to see if maybe there's a reasonable explanation (like they're both made by the same company), there's absolutely no information about them.

AIBU to spend my days and nights obsessing over this trivial major issue? To contact the press and demand answers? Maybe start a law suit?

When the Skidamarink song title flashed up the first time, I glanced up and thought I read 'Skidmark'.

We prefer Little Baby Bum... although Cocomelon comes a close second. Especially since they've done so many LBB/Cocomelon crossovers. There's a lot of rip offs of LBB and Cocomelon. If they're half decent I don't mind but some of them, the animation is actually disturbing.

Ok so my daughter was born in November of 2019 didn’t have to watch Cocomelon up until this year 2021. Now I completely agree on all this madness about Cocomelon and Super Jojo. Jjs dad is a baddie I have the same crush 😻 the daddy and daughter day at the beach and the clean machine video did it for me when he’s shirtless in his what I assume to be raybans and the playing with jj doing the meep meep meep noise got me swooned. And the energy he brings to the room in every video and the chores. He’s a baddie

I joined just to comment here. My daughter loves super JoJo and I hate it. I also tried researching where it's from to no avail. Is it from China? What drives me the craziest is how little educational content there is, even compared to cocomelon. The song that makes me want to run far away is Humpty Dumpty. Humpty Dumpty..a princess! NO! No, it's an egg that falls off a wall, dammit! At least try to make the shit rhyme.

I created an account just to reply to you because I need you to know that you're not alone. I live in Shanghai and have a 19 month old little daughter called Offy (her Shanghainese name is DuDu). Anyway, it's nice to meet a fellow Jojo-hater. I used to dislike Cocomelon, but my hatred for Jojo and its blatant, unoriginal and poorly produced plagiarism has created a bizarre bond of common ground between myself and Cocomelon. Sadly, my daughter seems to love Jojo as she is naturally unaware of the concept of ABHORRENT AND UNAPOLOGETIC THIEVERY. Alas, we have to content ourselves with publicly hating on it online. The channel did get banned after being sued by Cocomelon, but a month later got unbanned, so I guess copyright exists no more 😒
