Super JoJo vs. Cocomelon

This is a very important issue.

Are there any other parents of toddlers, who watch YouTube, and have seen both Super JoJo and Cocomelon?

I've been amazed at how Super JoJo rips off Cocomelon!! Sometimes even frame by frame! Most of the songs have exactly the same subject matter, different tune used to say the same thing, even the main baby characters, JoJo and JJ. Both have older brother, middle sister, mum and dad are the PERFECT parents and seem to never have to work but have beautiful mansion-esque houses with an abundance of ridiculous toys for the children to play with. But when I google it to see if maybe there's a reasonable explanation (like they're both made by the same company), there's absolutely no information about them.

AIBU to spend my days and nights obsessing over this trivial major issue? To contact the press and demand answers? Maybe start a law suit?

So DD has just stumbled upon BabyBus... the songs are exactly the same ones used in Super JoJo. Sung by the same person, everything. The only difference is the animation.

Is baby bus the one with Kiki and Mewmew? If so check out the terrifying earth quake song!!

It's all about baby joy joy in this house, she doesn't seem to have any parents and can drive a bus...

That reminds me of Annie in Hooplakidz, with her pet dog and monkey, she also doesn't seem to have parents and can drive a car. And a spaceship!

Although my song has started to like watching adults open and play with kids toys on YouTube so anything is better than that!!

Is it sad that I've seen all these YouTube channels? 😂 I also have a 1yo though and he's very into Hey Bear Sensory. it's just videos of dancing fruit and vegetables.
My 3yo DD is also a massive fan of LikeNASTYA and Come Play With Me. That's just 2 kids playing with little toddler anna and elsa dolls 😅

Super simple songs is so frickin good! Down by the bay, apples and bananas, peanut butter jelly... absolute classics.

Although, I personally love all of the sesame Street songs cos they are absolute tunes and have some cracking guest stars. I defy anyone to not wanna get up and dance to the ABC song with Usher and the Adam Sandler one is so good.

Sadly though, it's fucking Babybus with that twat Panda that my kid wants to watch. DD has zero class.

I was getting on with Sesame Street songs until the Elmo Brushy Brush one... it sounds like Katy Perry's ET and I could have sworn the woman singing WAS Katy Perry. It has virtually every other celebrity in that video, but it's not Katy Perry singing!

Jeez you're right there! I just listened to it and now it's stuck in my head! Perhaps Katy Perry doesn't feel able to sue sesame Street now she's pregnant haha!

My 2-year-old really likes Cocomelon, I think he thinks he's growing out of Little Baby Bum, but Elmo has become his favourite. He's been watching old videos of Sesame Street and Elmo's World on You Tube and he's in love.

I completely agree with you on this… I went to Google and typed in “ Super Joe Joe rip off of Cocomelon“ Trying to see if there was some sort of lawsuit and if there isn’t then there really should be… It’s complete BS how they just copied every little thing from Cocomelon and they have all these views in all these lakes it’s just totally unfair in my eyes. Such BS

I created an account just to reply to this thread. I don’t even live in the UK. I live in Los Angeles. It was imperative that I chime in, as I am currently in the throes of this very issue. How is Super Jojo even allowed? Also, to the poster who said all she does is admire her children’s scribbles, that is exactly what she was doing when I looked up from reading that comment. I spit out my coffee. My daughter is obsessed both with Jojo and JJ, but I must admit, it is a welcome break from Peppa. I mean no offense, I just can’t handle my daughter “jumping up and down in muddy puddles” while darting for gutter water or proclaiming she finds something “booooring” any longer.

Ms. Appleberry does it for me. I have a big crush on her and I think my LO does too lol. My wife takes jabs about me leaving her for the exotic smoke show teacher, Ms. Appleberry when she comes on CocoM. Any of the mums here swing that way and agree?? 😂
