Lockdown Lookalike - the awful realisation......

Lockdown can be tough. I am homeschooling and am finding it hard. But after my shower this morning I looked into the mirror and the realisation hit me. I looked like the Welsh King's brother in 'The Last Kingdom'! He is not a pretty man - straggly hair, a bit fat and quite wrinkly. I was really shocked to see him staring back at me!!! Who do you look like since lockdown?

Huge effort, but it was worth it!

I took a picture the other day and realised I now have 3 chins! 3!!

My hair is also taking on a bellatrix appearance

Thought I looked rough the other day but had a bad night last night .....

Woke up this morning and my hair is now channelling Jon Bon Jovi.

At least Bellatrix has style though!!

I lost about half of my hair after having my baby. The regrowth is now about an inch and sticks straight up between the long, straggly strands that needed a trim months ago. The end result is strongly reminiscent of a young Michael Bolton. (Come to think of it, my long, makeup-free face and big nose aren't entirely dissimilar to his either.)

I still shudder when I recall the day I thought "that woman looks like my mum" as I glimpsed a reflection in a shop window, only to realise the reflection was my own.

I scraped my hair up on the top of my head the other day as I didn’t need to wash it and when I glimpsed myself in the mirror as I got out of the bath Karen Taylor from Eastenders was looking back at me

DS had a video hospital appointment yesterday. I took one look at my picture and stood out of camera range!!!

This was my fringe in February after my husband trimmed it. I wept when I saw my reflection. Think war weary Medieval soldier with matching grey chin hairs :-(
