AIBU? Neighbours demanding money for McDonald’s

We live in quite a small but nice street, mainly detached with decent sized gardens. We have a whatsapp group that the whole street is on, barring one family LOL. But we won’t talk about them.

Anyway, DH is the one who reads the group most often and has now got into a massive fight with the neighbours over a group-buy of McDonalds food next week.

God, I'd love a cheeseburger right now.

This is one of the weirdest threads I've ever read. I live in a semi and I like to eat McDonalds from time to time. If I move to a detached property, will I have to give it up? What if I lived in a high rise? Or an apartment? Or a barn conversion? Is there a separate rule for Domino's? I love Domino's, but I might be in the wrong dwelling.

YABU to be having McDonald's delivered to your naice street. Didn't you know that if you have a detached house with large garden the etiquette is to have a pizza van come to the street...

So disappointed to get to the end and still no idea what the McD's scrap was about.

We have a street whatsapp group now - it's nice, mostly "everyone still ok?" type messages and swapping books and jigsaws. We are mix of semis and bungalows though, none of which are anywhere near 7 figures (haven't worked hard enough, clearly).
