If you don't want to clap, don't. I don't, particularly, so I won't. But it wasn't totally off base to think that a parenting forum might be a good place to spread news and raise support for this venture. Just because you're not interested there's no need to respond like that.

Just make sure you aren't holding them at the time please, I don't want them to get their angel wings.

DS has developed a habit of pointing at the cat and shouting 'doggy!' at her. I think DCat deserves an applause for that alone.

Lots of us are working hard. That's actually why I am enjoying the light relief here.

Don't worry everyone, we've another 6 weeks of lockdown yet. This new, enthused lust for showing our appreciation for every man, woman, child and dog will die quickly. I think people are naturally looking for commonality in an unusual time but people will very soon start to being insular, introverted, isolated souls as they've always been (which I'm looking forward to, I hate forced bonding / fun).
