What food do you really fancy that you can’t get at the moment

I don’t know why, but I’ve been craving a doughnut since the lockdown started. I’ve only been shopping once and they didn’t have them in the supermarket. I can’t seem to order them online and it’s reaching an obsession! What food or meal are you desperate to have now you can’t get it?

I ate the last packet of crisps yesterday and am now craving them, but have enough normal food in the house that I can't justify a supermarket run.

Also down to the last (small!) Chocolate bar which has been tempting me for a few days yet.

Almost hoping I get called in to work, so I can go out to buy lunch foods and stock up on treats at the same time.

The grilled sandwiches from the deli near me. I’m kicking myself daily that I couldn’t finish my last salt beef chilli reuben...

A proper fry up, but especially Black pudding.

A Chinese - and no that isn't some weird racist comment, I've been craving sweet and sour chicken balls, special fried rice and mushroom curry for about 10 days now

A McDonalds cheese burger. I’ve been thinking about it for a week. 😂

Also like to add chinese and maccy D's. I miss food.

A Subway for me.
Whole grain bread, tuna and extra melted cheese ( lettuce, tomato & peppers).
It's not the same making it at home.

Wine.

I really want to make cheese scones but can't find self raising flour anywhere.

A pot noodle - a green one. Yes it’s rank, currently in lock down with cv symptoms (now thankfully abating).

I think it’s the salt, whenever I’m ill all I want is salty foods, plain crisps, toast with salted butter..... my DH has suggested something else but he can fuck off🤣

DH just got back from a supermarket trip and actually managed to find raspberry jam doughnuts. And bananas. It's been so long since we had bananas in the house. He's definitely in the good books today.

The returning family member coming home with the spoils of a good supermarket shop somewhat recreate what it must have felt like when a caveman returned with a deer slung over his shoulder.

I want 20 chicken nuggets. I've never eaten 20 nuggets in my life but the first thing I do when I'm released into the wilds will be eat a 20 box.

Plain flour!!! There’s most things on the shelves, but we’ve not managed plain flour.

A maccies here too to be fair, we have most other things in.

Mars/galaxy have had a mechanical breakdown which is why there's no maltesers around or some other Mars/galaxy chocolates.

Lidl 95% cocoa chocolate. Had to make do with 85%.

An iced coke slushy thing from Burger King, I'm craving it constantly. I'm considering putting half a plastic bottle of coke in the freezer and seeing if I can do it that way,

Knorr ham stock cubes, out of stock everywhere. These are essential for making proper Scottish lentil and bacon soup. I guess everyone else wants to make it right now.

Fed my family Hot Cross Buns this morning and used Norpack which I have avoided, buying pricey Lurpack instead and they couldn't tell the difference!

I want fish and chips from my friend's chippy with her homemade tartare sauce.

I was scrolling back through old photos earlier and saw a pic I’d taken of a nice chocolate bar - a Coop slab, with mango and passion fruit. I’d entirely forgotten about it existing but now I’ve seen the photo I can taste it again and I really want some!
