What food do you really fancy that you can’t get at the moment

I don’t know why, but I’ve been craving a doughnut since the lockdown started. I’ve only been shopping once and they didn’t have them in the supermarket. I can’t seem to order them online and it’s reaching an obsession! What food or meal are you desperate to have now you can’t get it?

A huge portion of chicken wings with sweet potato fries from my favourite restaurant. They're savage!
I think when they reopen, I'll probably go there, order a double portion and have a little prayer over them.
A really decent wooden fired oven pizza.

Originally, but we sub for lighter coconut milk (30% rather than 65-75% coconut content in the can) and we found it was still sufficiently creamy and coconutty, but didn't stick to the pan

Sushi. They seemed to have stopped getting in it. Argh!

I want a full roast dinner, I can’t get flour for Yorkshire pudding or half the trimmings.

Chip shop chips and a cappuccino. Dip the chips in the froth!

A curry takeaway and a fried breakfast at a little seaside cafe we go to every now and then (hopefully they'll still be able to reopen when we're all back to normal as they do the best breakfasts!)

We've started a little jar where we're putting 'I wish we could' messages. Simple things like I wish we could go for a walk on the beach, or I wish I could go to the cinema or the takeaway...right to I wish we could go to Disneyworld for a holiday or I'd love to go back to Cornwall/Devon/Scotland/Lake District again.

When this is all over we'll try to work through as many as we can...starting with the takeaway (or maybe the breakfast, or maybe a takeaway on a Saturday night and the breakfast on Sunday morning!)

Pepsi max on tap in a pub. I don’t like it in bottles/cans for some reason!

Lots of nice cheeses, pate, chutney etc - to be fair perhaps I could get some of those things, but the only food delivery we can get for several weeks now has an item limit so obviously prioritising the stuff everyone eats, long shelf life etc

Basically any fresh fruit and veg. We are managing to get some but not as much as I’d like!

I’d really love a big plate of creamy tomato pasta too. We’ve not run out but I’m being quite sparing for myself.

Donuts wouldn’t go amiss here either to be honest. Or any kind of cake. Especially those with fresh cream!

Spicy minced pork. Any cuisine will do. I do have some pork mince in the freezer but that's in my shit we can't leave the house for 2 weeks stash so I'm not allowed to touch it.

M&S hot cross buns, nearest M&S is in town centre so can't justify going at the moment

Toasted cheese & ham sarnie and a flat white from the beach kiosk a few miles away and roast sirloin of beef from the pub in a nearby village.

They serve the beef with a massive array of vegetables and, although I could cook 7 different veg for 2 of us it really doesn't seem worth the effort and I doubt if I could find them all in the shops.
