What food do you really fancy that you can’t get at the moment

I don’t know why, but I’ve been craving a doughnut since the lockdown started. I’ve only been shopping once and they didn’t have them in the supermarket. I can’t seem to order them online and it’s reaching an obsession! What food or meal are you desperate to have now you can’t get it?

I just had a fish finger sandwich for the first time in years using the last 3 fish fingers in the freezer.....now all I can think about is another fish finger sandwich.

Next delivery (if I can get one) will be well after Easter

Just saying to dh this morning I would have loved a,McDonald's breakfast ,we rarely have them btw, but it's because I can't have them in missing them!

A Chinese takeaway. I’d been looking forward to one all last week and was hoping to get one on Saturday night as a treat. By Saturday every Chinese in the area was shut and I cried. I didn’t realise quite how much I’d been looking forward to it.

I want chocolate, sweets and cake My husband is the driver so does the shopping but he never thinks of buying treats and he's a rubbish shopper. Even if I give him a list if he can't thee exact thing on it he doesnt think of a replacement! He's driving me crazy

A takeaway latte. Ideally from Nero. Drunk whilst browsing the city centre shops. One day!

Everything else seems to be available in the supermarket or via Ubereats. I’m quite sad that PPs are short of quiche, milk, gishfingers, doughnuts, maltesers. My local supermarket is well stocked with everything except pasta. It’s good to be able to eat things you really fancy at times like this.

Jasmine rice we used to get it from warehouse Chinese supermarket. Before this all kicked off we ran out of the last of our 10kg bag so tried to get another one and there was absolutely no rice of any kind. So now I'm using sachets and it's just not the same :(

Tomato soup. Can't find any anywhere!

Pork scratchings. I am ashamed......

Flour, so I can bake to relieve kids boredom and make my own Yorkshire puddings!!

Chinese takeaway. All the ones near me have closed. I can get chips and curry sauce from the chippy but it's not quite the same as a beef curry with fried rice. I do make a decent fried rice at home but I've not been able to buy my normal rice so can't even make my own.

McDonalds too. I very rarely have one (maybe 2-3 times a year) but of course now knowing I definitely can't have one has made me really want one.

I really fancy cottage pie, but I have no mince. And I'm vegetarian 😂

Not sure where that craving has come from to be honest!

I cook from scratch and used to love good restaurants but right now all i want is a Papa John's pizza (i moved out of their delivery area ages ago :( )

@lyricallie I was shocked that I couldn't find it. What brand do you usually use? I can only find tilda 5kg but for stupid prices. Amazingly our local thai supermarket doesn't stock it at all.
