Would you cheat on a desert island?

More of a WWYD actually.

Hypothetical situation.

Imagine you’re very attracted to another man. He’s flirted with you, made it a little obvious that he’s attracted to you too, etc. You haven’t succumbed to him because you’re both married and it would be wrong.

However, you’re both stranded on a desert island in some kind of unexpected shipwreck. You have no idea how long you will be there. It could be a day. It could be forever.

Would you kiss him? Would you have sex with him? How long would you resist for? A week, a month, a year, 20 years, a lifetime?

What if this was your husband/brother/male friend? Would he kiss her? Have sex with her?

I'm aware my answer is incredibly middle aged...

But I will only think about shagging him once we've secured reliable food/water and built a 3 bed bungalow

I'm past child bearing age so sex is purely recreational

@easyandy101 brilliant, and in the same vein I'd probably sleep with them quite quickly as he would be less inclined to eat me if I gave out. Survival would be top of my list in that situation.

No, I wouldn't give up hope of being rescued and I love my husband. I can't speak definitely for my husband of course, but given his views on cheating, I doubt it. He stopped speaking to his long time friend for cheating on his girlfriend as he was disgusted.

Also, would you worry about getting pregnant if you’re of childbearing age? Delivering on an island with no support. Unless of course the man was an obstetrician. Or unless you are.

Yeah I probably would. That’s a life or death situation and if you think you might die it really affects you psychologically. I don’t think you can judge someone in such an extreme and rare situation. Btw wasn’t this a storyline on home and away once? 🤔

I think it depends on the characters involved. If your original mate is your soulmate then I think it doesn’t make sense to cheat. If the new mate has the potential to be the love of your life and if you planned to stay with them regardless of rescue then it’s different. In that case it’s breaking up with your original mate but without being able to tell him.

No I wouldn't cheat. I find cheaters utterly vile. If you're unhappy in your relationship then do something about it. Then and start afresh.
