Would you cheat on a desert island?

More of a WWYD actually.

Hypothetical situation.

Imagine you’re very attracted to another man. He’s flirted with you, made it a little obvious that he’s attracted to you too, etc. You haven’t succumbed to him because you’re both married and it would be wrong.

However, you’re both stranded on a desert island in some kind of unexpected shipwreck. You have no idea how long you will be there. It could be a day. It could be forever.

Would you kiss him? Would you have sex with him? How long would you resist for? A week, a month, a year, 20 years, a lifetime?

What if this was your husband/brother/male friend? Would he kiss her? Have sex with her?

Thanks

How long would you wait if you were the spouse back home who’s partner was missing presumed dead??
Interesting question! Again, depends on the characters involved and how much/if I loved them.

Starting afresh on a desert island? Grin

ElizaZ · 27/12/2019 15:06

I don’t know how horny I’d be in that situation.
I can only speak for myself but I think I would be more horny in a traumatic situation.

Do you know the man beforehand?

ElizaZ · 27/12/2019 15:08

I think that you would have to wait a while, if you were shipwrecked onto an island with a man that you didn't know.
In this scenario you already know him and already fancy him but are being ‘good’ in the real world.

The instinct and the primal urges for comfort and sex would take over after a few days, maybe less. Especially if there was strong attraction there on both parts.

I'm single so would get stuck in in seconds, lovely little day dream ha Grin

puddingbowlee · 27/12/2019 15:09

Ok in that case probably after a couple of days.

golddustwomen · 27/12/2019 15:10

@Iwasneveragoddess me too Xmas Grin

LittleTinselTown · 27/12/2019 15:14

I would not want to give birth and raise a child on a desert island, so absolutely not.

AugustFalls · 27/12/2019 15:15

If you're unhappy in your relationship then do something about it. Then and start afresh.

You’ve washed up on a desert island? How is they not starting afresh? Grin

coastergirl · 27/12/2019 15:40

I would.

puddingbowlee · 27/12/2019 15:50

Say you were rescued after 3 months, would you confess to your partner? would you be able to stop if you were still in the same friendship circle??

Is this scenario related to your RL feelings OP.

soulrunner · 27/12/2019 15:56

Is the hot guy Chris Hemsworth? Just asking.......

Emeraldshamrock · 27/12/2019 15:59

Oh wow. Chris Hemsworth we'd barely make it onto the island.
He is my hall pass in any scenario. 😍

DH and I have been apart for longer than that in the past and I haven't had any primal urges for sex with other men.

Spacebowlisback · 27/12/2019 16:29

Pretty sure I’d just be very very sad.

It's more the getting the trama of getting stranded, deserted, lost on an island, no contact with the outside world, fight for survival etc not just being away from your partner.

Keepmewarm · 27/12/2019 16:41

Do I have any nice bikinis or grooming products? I wouldn’t want manky hair.

Do we both stink of sweat and both badly sunburnt? I can’t stand sweaty people.

Hope it would take me a bit longer than a few days to feel the need to shag someone else though!

ElizaZ · 27/12/2019 17:05

I have a feeling that if I was attracted enough to the new partner to have sex with him then I would want to stay with him regardless.

Yup

No because you have tropical waters to bathe in all day long. No sunburn just sunkissed skin that makes your/his eyes look bluer.

Yes i'm sure it would. I would just expect that if this happened more people than they think would seek comfort in the other person's arms, it's natural. I'm pretty sure that's why affairs are more common amongst the police, medical staff etc. traumatic shared experiences, high stress etc.
