If the polls are roughly correct?

AIBU to think that he will cling on without shame?

OP posts:
Bluntness100 · 12/12/2019 22:16

I think he has to, but who knows.

StrawberryGoo · 12/12/2019 22:16

Who knows? Several years too fucking late even if he does. We can never recover from this period of having no credible opposition and the damage it has done. I am so angry with him and all who supported him, knowing he was so unelectable.

AngeloMysterioso · 12/12/2019 22:16

I doubt it. And if he does it’ll be too little, too damn late...

dontcallmeduck · 12/12/2019 22:17

He’ll have to

NameChangeNugget · 12/12/2019 22:17

He has to. If the exit polls are to believed, he has no choice

ExCwmbranDweller · 12/12/2019 22:17

Can't see any other way but the press would find something about anyone leading the Labour Party to make them unelectable as long as the Conservatives are the party promising to make the rich richer and have more rights to fuck over the poor. Fuck.

DowntownAbby · 12/12/2019 22:18

McDonnell looks broken, talking to Andrew Neil.

Singlenotsingle · 12/12/2019 22:18

Time he went, please god.

poltergust · 12/12/2019 22:18

I can't see how he could stay but I sense he'll want to

NobJobWinker · 12/12/2019 22:18

If he has any integrity, respect for voters and sense of reality then he will resign

It speaks volumes about how disillusioned he is if he doesn't

otterturk · 12/12/2019 22:18

THREE CHEERS TO SANITY!

GooseOrTurkey · 12/12/2019 22:19

McDonnell is a big part of why I couldn’t vote for Labour. He’s terrifying.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 12/12/2019 22:19

He absolutely should go

No doubt a large number of party member will want him to stay 🙄

Let’s hope this is the start of Labour returning to a party that stands for the values expected of the party

slipperywhensparticus · 12/12/2019 22:19

He is the victim of a very successful smear campaign to the degree where Johnson could do no wrong well fuck this shit im done

AlexaShutUp · 12/12/2019 22:20

He'll have to go.

MistyCloud · 12/12/2019 22:20

Course not.

He is so obnoxious and arrogant that he will think it's everyone's fault but his!

He has failed constantly since he appeared from under the rock he came from.

It will need to be a vote of no confidence to get rid of him.

And they need to NOW!

(If the exit polls are right!!!_

stoplickingthetelly · 12/12/2019 22:20

He probably should go, but he won’t go. They’ll have to sack him.

TheDevilsPedicure · 12/12/2019 22:20

@otterturk how you can call this sanity I have no fucking idea. There is nothing sane about anything that has happened in politics in this country for the last three years. For all parties.

DowntownAbby · 12/12/2019 22:21

Dear god!

McDonnell thinks he and Corbyn are 'centre left' now.

He's a fucking comedian.

Swirlygirl · 12/12/2019 22:21

He won’t resign. These MPs consider themselves to be celebrities. Their egos are why we are in this mess because they are all self serving.

CrossingTheAlpsInOtley · 12/12/2019 22:21

I hope he will and then we can take a once great party out of the hands of the few who will eventually sink it.

I see McDonnell saying it is all down to Brexit.....pathetic"

Thank God he didn't win. It's a poisoned chalice
