daft question - which way do you face when you get into the shower?

One of those little things that keeps popping into my head when I get in the shower and I thought you lot wouldn't mind a quick vote!

I always have my back to the shower head to start but on TV they always seem to face it.

YABU - I have my back to the shower

YANBU - I face the shower

Back to the shower.

Back to the shower too,tv scenes baffle me - you end up blinds and eyes closed if you face in!

90% back to the shower, turn round and wash my face for the last bit.

Face to the shower to start with as I'm cold and for some reason feel warmer if front is in the hot water instead of back. I wash face, then turn around with back to shower to wash hair, shave legs etc Thought everybody did that.

Always always back to the shower. Also never understood facing it on TV and in films!

If I’m washing my hair I face the back. Otherwise it’s front all the way

I turn round all the time. Got to make sure I'm properly washed and rinsed! At the end I take the shower head out of the holder to make sure I've got any hard to reach places.

I spend 10 minutes in the shower. Which I realise is too long but my hair is long and takes longer to wash/condition now.

Back.

Now I'm going to be conscious of this next time I shower.

I might try front for test purposes.

I mean technically I start off facing the shower as that’s how you walk into and turn on our shower, but I do the majority of my showering with my back to the shower head and controls. I turn round for the last face wash/rinse off, sometimes take the shower head down to use it handheld too.

Facing the shower.. and the door.. but that’s also because the temperature thingy is there so if I back in n it’s freezing or boiling ive to whip round like a scalded lobster to fix it 😂.. forward I just stick my hand out a bit.

Always reverse in.

Me too except I thought everyone would say back to shower! I was thinking who on earth stands front to shower and honestly my mind is blown.

Same as GrumpySausage. Normal shower is facing the water, if I'm washing my hair I'll stand with my back to it.

I wash my body facing the shower bit with my head not under it, and then turn so my back is towards the shower to rinse my hair.

Separate shower cubicle here and always face the shower.. don't think I've ever faced outwards other than to rinse.
