To ask about Jeremy Corbyn and anti semitism

So having decided to vote labour I had a conversation with a Jewish work colleague who said she couldn't vote for him, hated him even. It took me a few seconds and then i realised why. I said that I had stuck my fingers in my ears and my head in the sand somewhat about this, hoping it was just the media etc.

We didn't get into it as I could see she was uncomfortable.

So can someone tell me if and why he is an anti-semite? It doesn't sit well with me to vote for someone like that but I desperately want the Tories gone and my politics is definitely to the left.

I'm honestly not being goady and I know I could google but i wouldn't know where to start to get an unbiased view

Forget about Corbyn shall we for a minute? Let's take a close look at the leader who is CLEARLY and very OPENLY an aggressive, murderous, violence inciting, corrupt and all around unpleasant type.

How can you not see that on a thread discussing the issues British Jews face in the UK, and why the Labour party is part of that problem at the moment, that accusing 'the Jews' (which ones? The British ones who are the focus of the thread?) of actions against Arabs and requiring them to take personal responsibility for the actions of the Israeli government is anti semitism.

And British Jews are responsible for Netanyahu? Antisemitism right there. For all to see.
Are all British Muslims responsible for the Saudi government? Of course they fucking well aren't.

And again: Holding Jews collectively responsible for actions of the state of Israel.

Why has everything become about Israel and Palestine? We are talking about anti-Semitism IN THE UK. Actual humans, who are citizens of the UK, who live and work among us, who are concerned about hatred directed towards them because of their heritage. If some posters, really can't segregate those topics in their own minds then that's very concerning and yes, it's clearly anti-Semitism because you are directing hatred at your fellow citizens based on their religion alone. I want to block this thread now, I've seen more than enough and it's very disturbing. I don't know what to suggest for those who are so confused and hateful, maybe try counselling to work through your issues.

@MRex but it IS about Palestine you see. If you apply certain flawed definitions of antisemitism one cannot even criticise the government of another country without being labelled antisemitic! Corbyn IS NOT an anti semite. He has courage to point out the absolute disgrace that Israeli policy is. Learn to think logically and try to get rid of your bias for a change.

If he only cared out calling out injustice wherever it exists and supporting oppressed peoples, then why did he accept £20,000 to go on Iranian Press TV? Iran throws gay people off buildings and imprisons women who refuse to cover their hair. Yet never a peep from Corbyn about that.

Venezuela? Maduro's literal starving of his own people? Corbyn labels the Venezuelan protests against Maduro as a right-wing coup.

And has Corbyn once mentioned the actual genocide China is committing against the Muslim Uighur people? They are imprisoned in re-education camps, they are tortured daily, they have pork shoved down their threats and the women are raped. And what has Corbyn said about it? Zilch.

The only country he seems to think deserves repeated condemnation is the world's only Jewish state. Strange that.

They have good reason to be fearful. They've been bombed all week but I've seen nothing in the British mainstream media about it. Going on about how violent and pitiless the Israelis are implying that hamas are the opposite, so gentle kind and honest. You are biased with selective knowledge. They are as bad as each other. You only have half knowledge but that suits your agenda doesnt it 😊😂
