To wonder how swear words vary in severity. To me, I think they’re all as bad as each other however, some believe that bitch, for example, is mild and not as bad as fuck.

Cunt fuck, as in ‘he’s an absolute cunt fuck’ is probably the worst insult I can think of. Or motherfucking shit cunt?

Racist or homophobic slurs and slag/slut makes me bristle in a horrible way generic swear words never could - they feel so much more hate filled than the basic ones.

Obviously it's the N word. If you can actually spell out your word in your post, then it isn't as bad, is it? Try posting the full N word and your post would be deleted and possibly your account banned.

Cunt for me. A word so vulgar it’s not acceptable in any scenario unless your in a confrontation/want to speak really badly about someone.

I was very recently delighted to be called a "little bitch" for the first time ever aged 60; truly wondering why I had never been called that before and perversely feeling a bit chuffed.

Obvs best not be in that position, but the speaker did have a point so I did apologize to the appropriate person for my misdemeanour.

Bitch is a word I use a lot in the context of my female dog, and when describing how my male dog looks at me ( slave-bitch) so I can’t get worked up about it.
Ginger ? As a swear word ? I am ginger, I don’t see how that can be classed as mildly offensive ?
i am in Scotland, and as a pp said, Cunt is not a word I hear regularly, thank goodness. But I have relatives who are deeply offended by Geez, Jesus, Christ etc. It’s. O text really, and the venom behind the words.
