Thanks to Highfields I have rediscovered the joy of butter this weekend. Toast is DELICIOUS with butter instead of flora on it. Am thinking cupcakes will be twice as nice.

Butter all the way. Better taste, better for you. Why would you want to eat something more chemically similar to the tub it comes in than natural food? No brainer to me.

We always have butter on toast, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, mash and so on.

I used to use Stork in baking but will no longer do so.

My parents are marg buyers and I have always been strictly butter. Can't believe they smear that shite on their toast and then eat it. Just horrible, with no taste and zero health benefits.

I switched back years ago.
I've yet to meet a single person who says marge is nice. Most people agree butter is lovely so why do we eat the crap stuff!

YANBU proven by no one ever licks the marge knife.

Margerine is the devil. I won’t have it in the house and I always say that I don’t want it when ordering in a sandwich shop. It is ultr processed chemical crap.

Organic butter. Costs more,use less, so much better for everyone.

I love butter and would use it but I can never get it to spread in sandwiches. It just churns up the bread. What am I doing wrong?

If I remember the other threads accurately your DH has got his own way in every aspect of things recently. I'd be going and if he didn't want to come too then he could crack on with his parents.
When are you going to actually stand up for something you want?
