Caught my dh in the act

I just witnessed my dh do something disgusting, and now I'm having serious second thoughts about staying married to him.

I saw him use one of my sharp kitchen knives to pop a humongous blister on his thumb, and then go to put my knife straight back into the drawer without any attempt to clean it Envy He isn't the man I thought I'd married. Should I leave him?
This is lighthearted by the way.

Haha I was fully prepared for something else OP well played!

Definitely LTB.

jamdhanihash · 04/10/2019 20:53

Why did he not use his teeth? Feral.

Pipanchew2 · 04/10/2019 20:53

Definitely LTB - make sure he takes the knife with him!

Cherrysoup · 04/10/2019 20:54

A knife? Overkill. I’d be there with a needle. It’s skank of him not to clean it.

TheKarateKitty · 04/10/2019 20:55

Have him committed.

EskewedBeef · 04/10/2019 20:56

Selfish arse, not giving you first dibs on the blister. Yes LTB, of course.

GummyGoddess · 04/10/2019 20:58

I wonder how many pus filled meals you've eaten unawares 🤔

CuntyMcBollocks · 04/10/2019 20:58

I don't know what in the hell he was thinking. Lucky I caught him in time! Yuck!!

How did he get the blister?

Sowingbees · 04/10/2019 21:00

I'd leave you for putting lighthearted. That is a worse transgression than popping and putting back.

Morado · 04/10/2019 21:01

Vom!

CuntyMcBollocks · 04/10/2019 21:04

I'm not sure how he acquired the blister in the first place 4SimpleWords, most likely at work

🤢

thequeenofsandwich · 04/10/2019 21:07

But did he film it ...?

Elieza · 04/10/2019 21:07

Make sure the next time he is eating something you prepared, let’s say a slice of cake, that you mention “hope that cakes nice darling. I cut it with that really sharp knife in the drawer. Weird thing was it smelled a bit funny but I’m sure it’s fine as it was cleaned a few weeks ago. Enjoying that cake, good” Grin

TroysMammy · 04/10/2019 21:09

I hope he doesn't use the forks for cleaning under his finger nails. Now that would be LTB territory.

saraclara · 04/10/2019 21:11

Well that was disappointing. I've rarely clicked on an OP title with such alacrity! Only to find...

londonrach · 04/10/2019 21:12

Why didnt he clean it?

Windydaysuponus · 04/10/2019 21:13

About 2 years ago I caught dh washing cooked boiled rice under the hot tap..
I bought a rice maker..

Craftycorvid · 04/10/2019 21:13

Yes, immediate dispatch of blister-piercing spouse is the only way. Shallow grave beside the composting bin....Hmm

IncrediblySadToo · 04/10/2019 21:15

That’s disgusting. I’m not sure I’d be joking about leaving him, but I’m very particular with hygiene. Esi disloyalties in the kitchen

Ermmm not so much the bedroom , all considered 🙄

Drabarni · 04/10/2019 21:15

You have to LTB, red flags all over the place.
Minging knife, the deceit in not cleaning it.
Not giving you first chance to do it yourself.
He clearly doesn't respect you and wants you to be ill.

Such a shame you have to add lighthearted, it didn't used to be like that.

Span1elsRock · 04/10/2019 21:18

I kept finding my kitchen scissors in the living room in the mornings. One night I came down and caught DH cutting the hard skin off his feet with them. I'd been just putting them back in the drawer and using them Confused

They are very well hidden these days and I run boiling water over them before using just in case ......................

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 04/10/2019 21:19

Douse him and the knife in Zoflora then LTB

Symptomless · 04/10/2019 21:20

Noooooooo , so wrong.
