Please help me.
Name changed, long time poster.

I have a chronic illness amongst other illnesses for which I take a number of medications, maybe 12?

I get my medications delivered to me on my repeat prescription by an online pharmacy.

Big box got delivered today.

I go down to my concierge (adjacent building) and collect my box of medications alongside another big box. I put these two boxes in a large recycling type bag that the concierge provided me with.

I have a few smaller parcels to collect from the other building (different concierge) this takes around 5 minutes.
Whilst I go to the other building, I leave the heavy bag holding the two boxes in the reception of my building (cctv, etc)

I return and both boxes have been stolen.

I am going out of my mind.

I tell the concierge who says I have to wait until Monday for the manager to view the cctv.
I am a single mother to 10mo dc. I am now getting really anxious and feeling a vomiting attack coming on.

I've called the police who say I have to wait 48 hours for their telephone investigating team to get in touch?

My concern is, not only do I need these medications but also by the time Monday comes these medications will be long gone (sold, taken?) and potentially so will the person who stole them.

What can I do?

I'm panicking.

For those asking, the delivery of medication requires a signature.
I have a 24 hour concierge in the two adjacent buildings, they signed for the delivery hence why I had to go downstairs and pick them up.

Do you think whoever took your medication knew full well you get controlled drugs delivered on a regular basis? It sounds like a planned theft, and I suspect your meds have already been sold on to street users.

You poor thing, I hope 111 can help you this morning. Most major supermarket pharmacies open at 10am.

Flowers How are you feeling OP?

FancyACarrot · 23/06/2019 10:06

Go to A&E?

helpmem · 23/06/2019 14:48

@LuckyLou7 Hm, they wouldn't know what was in the box though.
It's so weird I don't understand what happened.

@Caffeto Thank you so much. Narcassistic ex went to pick them up really early this morning so I have a week's supply now at least! I feel so much better.

My focus now is reviewing the cctv on Monday and going ape shit
