I’m slightly hungover and a bit delicate so more sensitive than usual...

I’m just chilling out listening to a playlist, Travelin’ Soldier by Dixie Chicks came on and I am BAWLING.

You Will Be Found - from the musical Dear Evan Hansen.... most recently seen performed by Hugh Jackman on his tour - absolutely stunning!

Hurt by Johnny Cash for me too, especially with the video.

This Woman’s Work by Kate Bush. Have a lump in my throat every time I hear it. Also One Last Time by Ariana Grande because every time I hear it I remember her singing it at the concert after the Manchester attack and I just think about all those people who would give anything to have their family home one last time, and it feels raw every time.

See you again - Wiz Khalifa. 2015 wasn't a good a year.

Anchorage - Michelle Shocked.

Basically a song about two friends, one does the marriage, settling down thing, the other doesn't and even though it's very American I really relate to it and the themes and it reminds me of friends I have grown away from. It's a beautiful song.

Cat's in the cradle, sung by whoever, they all get me.

Top of the World (also by the Dixie Chicks!) makes me cry more than any other song in the world. Maybe I just shouldn’t listen to the Dixie Chicks anymore.

We'll meet again by Vera Lynn. My gran used to sing it to me all the time as a child and I had it play everyone out at her funeral. It still makes bawl every time

Any version of “he ain’t heavy, he’s my brother”. Just writing it makes me well up.
