Hahaha nope

PristineCondition · 26/05/2019 09:09

No i want an adultly adult running the country.

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 26/05/2019 09:09

Of course. Why not? He's a man of the people, tells it is like it is, great hair, and he can zipwire.

WhiteDust · 26/05/2019 09:14

'Man of the people'

Freyasmum1 · 26/05/2019 09:15

Please God no, have we not been through enough?!

Trottersindependenttraders · 26/05/2019 09:16

Erm, no.

Bwekfusth · 26/05/2019 09:17

Part of me is intrigued as to how much worse it could possibly get. But no. TM was farce enough.

mysteryfairy · 26/05/2019 09:18

never thought I’d be in a position where I felt a little relief to see Gove enter the fray

something2say · 26/05/2019 09:18

No. Arrogant, and wants a hard Brexit.

Gotobloodysleep · 26/05/2019 09:18

No here as well. It makes me cringe and fear for the future when I hear that he is the favourite at the moment.

CherryPavlova · 26/05/2019 09:19

Luckily the front runner at this stage rarely gets the job.

Lana1234 · 26/05/2019 09:19

Nope nope nope

Gotobloodysleep · 26/05/2019 09:21

Mystery fairy, Gove? Really? Because he has shown how well he handled both the NHS and the education department. Can you imagine what he would do to the country if he got his hands on it. 🥺

Teaandcrisps · 26/05/2019 09:21

More Eton mess!!!!!!!!!!!
No thanks.

fedup21 · 26/05/2019 09:22

Luckily the front runner at this stage rarely gets the job.

Very true actually.

LagunaBubbles · 26/05/2019 09:22

Well I think the only advantage for me personally having him as PM would be it would definitely help the case for Scottish independence!

RedForShort · 26/05/2019 09:23

There's an untrue in one item of your reasoning JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff: he can't actually successfully zip wire.

I do hope that this upsetting fact won't cast doubt upon your other reasons. Which, obviously, seem plausible...

Trebla · 26/05/2019 09:24

Duplicitous, morally bankrupt, selfish, self serving, cronyism loving twat.

He is perfect for the role.

FML

Justanothernameonthepage · 26/05/2019 09:24

Nope. He's an idiot. As FS he managed to make it obvious that he's vastly unprepared, unable to cope with basic situations and sees no issue in insulting allies or the current political situation.
I wouldn't trust him to look after a pot plant.

ClaraMatilda · 26/05/2019 09:24

Only if I had to make a choice between him and Gove. Otherwise no.

TheClitterati · 26/05/2019 09:26

Yeah, nah never

Conks · 26/05/2019 09:26

I’d rather him than Corbyn.

HappydaysArehere · 26/05/2019 09:28

Matthew Parris in the Times yesterday described him as “an incompetent scoundrel”. I couldn’t think of a more accurate description and if the Tories vote for him then what does it say about them?
Personally, my vote would be for Rory Stewart. He has a really impressive background, he is a diplomat and he has integrity; hence his statement that he would never serve in a Johnson cabinet.

Amara123 · 26/05/2019 09:29

Not a hope. Made error after error as foreign secretary, couldn't possibly manage all the "trade deals' he thinks he might have to make.
Also he's just a bit thick. Really an example of how a posh accent/education can provide a veneer of intelligence.

Freddiefox · 26/05/2019 09:30

Well, I think he may well be the better choice. I can’t stand him he’s an egotistical man, who is only interested in himself. But their in lies his problem.

He likes to be popular, he wants to be liked. He won’t want to deliver Brexit because he knows how unpopular it will be and he knows the terrible effects it will have in the country .

Even though he was on the leave side, he never thought they would win.

Next he thought mrs May would brexit and he would come in after and be the prime minister who could blame everything on previous prime ministers.

Obviously now that’s not the case and he had the poison chalice to deal with.

I think if anyone will stop brexit it will be Boris’s ego and his need to be loved, he can withdraw and then he gets to be ‘the man who saved’ the county.
