Clearly he's a tosser. But there is a school of thought that says the worse the pm, the more likely the tories will get voted out at the next ge.

TheABC · 26/05/2019 09:33

Part of me wants him to get the job if only to see the rousing "fuck off" from Europe when he goes back to negotiate. You broke it, Johnson. You can fix it.

The rest of me just wants someone sane and sensible enough to avoid crashing the country. The Tories are sliding into electoral oblivion at the moment - if it were not for Brexit, it would be rather amusing to watch.

ChicCroissant · 26/05/2019 09:33

No.

I hope the MP's who have the first part of the vote dispose of him at an early stage. He's not up to the job IMO.

marvellousnightforamooncup · 26/05/2019 09:37

He's awful but it's Hobson's choice. DH wants him so Scotland votes for independence. They really are all a bunch of entitled, morally bankrupt scoundrels without a grasp on reality or if they do have a grasp they hide it so they can push their self serving agenda.

pepperpot99 · 26/05/2019 09:37

Naah. He's corrupt, a liar, totaĺly incompetent and hates all public sector institutions and workers as a matter of principle. A total shyster.
Ask Richard Ratcliffe what he thinks of him.

JockTamsonsBairns · 26/05/2019 09:39

Liking Boris Johnson is a bit like reading the Daily Mail / watching Jeremy Kyle / eating Pot Noodles. We all know that millions do it, but no-one ever owns up to it.

SentosaCove · 26/05/2019 09:40

Most people in this country have had enough of rich, spoilt toffs making careers in politics because they are about as useful as a chocolate teapot in real life. Boris is no different. He is the clown who brings a bit of a giggle to a garden party and we find him amusing in very small doses.

People have forgotten very quickly that he did a brilliant job mouthing off about Brexit but when actually faced with the result, ran off and hid until someone else took it over. When the coast was clear, he raised his head from his den to get a prominent position in cabinet as he felt was his right.

He is a great orator, well educated and writes well. He is very intelligent had money to buy him the best education The truth is though that he has no backbone, he is a coward and just in this for a laugh.

Pinkarsedfly · 26/05/2019 09:44

Fuck, no.

BenWillbondsPants · 26/05/2019 09:47

God almighty, no. He should be in jail.

purpleleotard · 26/05/2019 09:48

NO

QuizzlyBear · 26/05/2019 09:53

Good God, no. He was sacked as Foreign Secretary because he was a national embarrassment - given that, why would we want him to represent the country as PM?! Hmm

Pa1oma · 26/05/2019 09:56

Absolutely this! He is a vile, duplicitous, scheming muppet.

And I say that as someone who has generally voted Conservative in recent general elections.

I mean, if you went out into the streets and tried to find a bigger tosser, you’d be hard pushed.

Yet I don’t want any of the candidates so far as they’re all Brexiteers.

There is nothing in that party that inspires any confidence any more. Corbyn is equally a fence-sitting, game player, waiting for his moment. What a waste of space he’s been. Basically there is nobody in British politics worth voting for. Brexit has made this country into a laughing stock.

BoogieFeet · 26/05/2019 09:58

Dear god no..

Pa1oma · 26/05/2019 09:59

Farage should be prosecuted for inciting xenophobia and paranoia on the back of the Syrian refugee crisis. Boris should be prosecuted for that bus slogan. I don’t know how either of them have got away with it and are still mouthing off.

Giggorata · 26/05/2019 09:59

NO.
It's difficult to think of any one of that shower that I do want....

Quellium · 26/05/2019 10:00

No. Not in a million years. However, all the candidates are pretty awful and we are in deep shit as a country. It's pretty terrifying to think what could be in store.

Quellium · 26/05/2019 10:02

^ and I'm not saying that as a Labour voter who thinks a government led by Corbyn would be any better. Like I said, we are in trouble.

SuziQ10 · 26/05/2019 10:02

Absolutely not!!

Orchidflower1 · 26/05/2019 10:03

I’d rather him than Gove and worse still creepy corbyn.

Pa1oma · 26/05/2019 10:03

Why is there no Remain candidate from a party that’s pretty much split over Brexit?

Orchidflower1 · 26/05/2019 10:05

To be fair bj reminds me somewhat of trump and although trump hasn’t been fabulous he’s not been as catastrophic as almost thought. Therefore my thinking is the same could happen to us. Bj is the best of a bloody awful bunch.

speakout · 26/05/2019 10:05

Yes.

UCOinanOCG · 26/05/2019 10:07

I'm Scottish and I don't want him as PM. He is an ignorant buffoon.

Shadycorner · 26/05/2019 10:08

No! Please no!

Arrogant, mendacious, dangerous.

And he legitimised Farage's racism.

Bartelby · 26/05/2019 10:10

I don’t think there is a credible candidate. I don’t want Brexit bit if we have to have Brexit then I want a proper leader to negotiate with the EU over the next god knows how many years it’s going to sort out this mess.

Not a liar with no scruples about running away when it all gets too hard.
