Mumsnet almost unusable this morning?

I doubt this will even post given all the issues this morning.

Has anyone else been getting a white screen and pages not loading?

It's making the site almost unusable, where as all other websites i'm on seem to be working as normal.

It's been happening on my mobile (not the app) and on my macbook. Chrome on both.

I've had issues with both the mobile and desktop sites. Some links haven't been working for a couple days, e.g. trying to go to the gaming topic or any of the threads on it goes straight to an empty 'for sale page.

I've been having problems the last week. Something to do with heavy use IIRC.
I use a separate e-mail for MN anyway.

listen mn its obvious something bigger is going on.its your site.YOUR site.not a platfrom or app or phone or system problem.
we have all reported for weeks from varied devices in cluding both app and mobile and desktop and laptops and its still YOUR site.
ive had delayed and varied rubbish repsonse for weeks now.
please keep us all informed. you cant blame the anxiety when this has happened before and you were hacked

It has been like this during the UK night hours for a few days now. I am in NZ currently and have barely been able to access the site this week.

I'm not using the app. iPad with safari. Since Wednesday the site is always slow in the evenings. Then I just get server not responding. In the mornings it's been unusable, message is either server not responding or site is overloaded. I couldn't use it this morning, then it appeared to be ok.

Are you all using the mobile sites & apps, or is anyone having a similar problem on the main site

Main site using firefox and safari on my ipad.

The latest data breach was a result of them trying to do something IT related.

The previous issues were them being hacked.

From what they've said on the Site Stuff thread it's very blasé, sort of 'oh we need to update some stuff' or something.

So either they've been hacked again or IT have fucked up again.

The fact that it goes down at night mainly, suggests maybe a hacker, when IT staff are not working.

Radio silence not the best.

I had a problem yesterday morning just wouldn't load the page but i could go on other web pages .Seems to be ok this morning so far .

It's not a pc/browser problem. It's a MN- originated problem, given that downdetector said the site was down.

I'm having the same problem on the mobile site using Chrome. It's been happening for the last few days but seems worse this morning.

Are any of you using as blockers / ghost browsers? I suspect it may be due in part at least to the very heavy load of tracking and ads that MN has. I block all of them and haven’t had any problems. Maybe I’ve just been lucky though, I don’t know. Perhaps give it a try?
