Don't want to make this a TAAT, so I'll just say I have enjoyed everyone's observations on the royal family and it's made a boring weekend go much quicker Grin

Please continue if you wish to......

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo

Shock I'd be a duchess for shoes like that!

Well I have just read an article in a British newspaper online about how there a plans for baby Sussex to be in British Vogue a la Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. It's all hotting up for sure.

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 28/04/2019 15:18

Me too Magic

QueenOfTheCroneAge · 28/04/2019 15:19

Love the colour of the shoes - but I don't wear high heels. Maybe I should start, I'm tall and in heels like that I'd tower over most people. Oh then I'd have a good view of bald spots and dandruff Sad

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 28/04/2019 15:20

What is this salad tossing every one is talking about? Have I led a very sheltered life or something?

Iamnotagoddess · 28/04/2019 15:22

It’s rimming - basically.

Humpy84 · 28/04/2019 15:22

YABU but so are we

PierreBezukov · 28/04/2019 15:22

Darn, I missed the explanation about tossed salad.

Is it like the keys in the bowl thing?

QueenOfTheCroneAge · 28/04/2019 15:24

I find Urban Dictionary most enlightening reading @BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo

FreezingFingers · 28/04/2019 15:25

Matthew Wright presents a radio show on talkRADIO now - weekdays at 1pm - has done for a while

QueenOfTheCroneAge · 28/04/2019 15:26

I always hear the word 'rimming' in a Welsh accent in my head, weirdly.

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 28/04/2019 15:26

But that makes no sense! Tea bagging makes sense, but salad tossing? I’m going to have to investigate further (not literally though)

Puzzledandpissedoff · 28/04/2019 15:27

the original thread had nothing to do with (MM), and was being hijacked by people trying to derail the thread by making it all about her

They very often are ... it's as if some have just got to mention her so they can get the thread deleted and prove that anyone insufficiently admiring can't mention her at all. It's just plain weird, frankly Confused

AuldJosey · 28/04/2019 15:28

Why is it suspect that he hasn't been on air for a while?

Is he doing a duchess?

MyBlueMoonbeam · 28/04/2019 15:28

@QueenOfTheCroneAge

Shock
MagicKingdomDizzy · 28/04/2019 15:28

QueenOfTheCroneAge I tried to say it in my head in a Welsh accent, but it came out Scottish. Like Sean Connery Confused

onelittleclara · 28/04/2019 15:28

I thought Matthew Wright is now presenting on talkRadio?

MyBlueMoonbeam · 28/04/2019 15:29

@BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo

I think I've worked out tea bagging Confused

MyBlueMoonbeam · 28/04/2019 15:30

@MagicKingdomDizzy try rhyming it with wimmin Wink

Humpy84 · 28/04/2019 15:31

I can see the vogue cover now, with all three of them on a white horse on a beach in Cornwall, wearing white, organic, linen/cotton, flowing seperates. Staring into the distance and hair blowing and the baby in a organic crochet sling.

We love Meghan

MagicKingdomDizzy · 28/04/2019 15:31

So many sheltered people on here who don't know about salads and tea bags....

Or am I just from the gutter?

Thank you burntsausage.

I don’t know that their legal team can do much in terms of holding the press libel as they’d have to firstly prove that the allegations are false.

I think it’s much more likely the RF has various deals with the press. Maybe this time it’ll be ‘don’t mention the affair until XX/YY and we’ll give you the heads up on the arrival of the new baby’ or something.

Think of all of the W&K forever merchandise that would depreciate Grin

LaMarschallin · 28/04/2019 15:31

Can we vilify people when they're not pregnant?
One bit of royal oddness I remember was when Diana broke the "never complain, never explain" rule because of the viscious suggestion she had a bit of cellulite on her thighs. Not nice, I know, but given everything else that's been reported about her and other royals... Even PW has said how much it upset her in an interview after her death. She apparently met with a journalist to offer to pose for photographs to prove the royal thighs were bump-free. Seemingly the cellulitic appearance was due to shadows from a freak solar eclipse or something...
