I was looking at pics. of Rose Hanbury on pinterest. When young she dressed in an adventurous way. Now married she just looks uninteresting/covered up. Is it a rule do you suppose when you marry into the nobility you have to wear a type of uniform clothing wise.

Oh wow! poor Margaret! that would be a huge royal scandal now, let alone back in the day. Sad for Polly who didn't know for so many years.

I think the saddest thing in that case is that when Polly Fry said that AA-J was her father they all said there had been no dna test, like she was a liar until it was admitted 4 years later. He also left her from his will.

Jeremy Fry was meant to be his best man at his wedding but was basically deemed unsuitable for the job.

Not a bitchy Princess Margaret story, but certainly one of my favourites, hope I tell it right......

Elizabeth Taylor and Princess Margaret were both at an event. ET was showing PM her new very large diamond ring. PM remarked on how vulgar it was. ET offered for her to try it on. PM puts it on and looks at it on her finger, turning it this way and that, looking at it from all angles.
"Not so vulgar now is it?" says ET.
