To think the UK media silence on the Prince William rumours is odd

Just that really. No idea if there's anything more than rumour and speculation, but it's all over social media that Prince William allegedly had an affair with one of Kate's friends, but there is a total media silence on it.
Pretty bizarre considering that Meghan Markle barely has to breathe and the media are covering it.

Because this thread needs to be settled

William was 13 and in Eton when his mother’s interview was broadcast on Panorama. She didn’t give a flying fuck about the damage she did to her young sons.

I was shocked when I saw all the stuff on Twitter a few months ago but I fear there is no smoke without fire and it’s probably true, same as all the shit about the Beckhams.

I always wonder about the Beckhams. It doesn't consume me or anything, more of a fleeting though.
The rumors around Ramsay were treated with such a pitchfork 'Gordon is a bastard' mentality, and yet David Beckham has had the same rumors and he seems to be teflon.
I actually really like Gordon Ramsay, and he, his wife and kids seem so loving towards each other.

I don’t believe the Royal Family could or would ever sue for libel. I can hardly imagine Prince William giving evidence about his personal life in the witness box. I imagine the Palace’s leverage is more around the relationship with the press, future access, cooperation and so on.

I would be very disappointed if it were true. However, I can't think of anything else that would make Kate cut ties completely with Rose Cholmondley, (if , indeed, that part is even true) apart from something relating to her and William.

The CofE allows marriage after divorce. They would not need a civil ceremony in addition to their church ceremony.

I'm finding it hilarious that people have somehow managed to turn a story about William's affair into an opportunity to bash Meghan Markle
