To think the UK media silence on the Prince William rumours is odd

Just that really. No idea if there's anything more than rumour and speculation, but it's all over social media that Prince William allegedly had an affair with one of Kate's friends, but there is a total media silence on it.
Pretty bizarre considering that Meghan Markle barely has to breathe and the media are covering it.

Kate is really extremely thin - which does make you wonder about how happy she is. Ironically I think this is most obvious in the photos of her with Rose - who is a very slim former model but who is still not as thin as Kate.

Can we name 10 adult members of the royal family since 1901 who have not been linked an extra marital affair?

I only originally came on for the deletion message, but now you've got me thinking ...
Queen Mary? George VII?

If there is truth to the rumours ... I imagine the Queen summonsed William to tell him to wind his neck dick in

She didn't with Charles, or at least not in any way that worked

Sunlov · 25/04/2019 18:11

He's not a fucking racehorse.

bethy15 · 25/04/2019 18:11

*Nope. It never happened.

As much as you want it to have.*

How on earth do you know? What makes you so sure?

I get people love the royal family, but how the hell can anyone be so sure by their devotion. There are plenty of high profile people who come across well who have then cheated.

MrsSteve · 25/04/2019 18:11

I don’t think Andrew was rumoured to have affairs (with women) but there are other rumours about him.

FocusTalk · 25/04/2019 18:14

@MrsSteve actually at the very start the vicar said Rachel Meghan and Henry (middle names), after that he used Harry and Meghan

aprilviolets · 25/04/2019 18:15

when rumours started about Charles and Diana having affairs, lots of people doubted it and said it was all rubbish too.

TheCraicDealer · 25/04/2019 18:16

If he doesn’t want to wait for it to blow over they could have easily made this go away without the need for injunctions or strongly worded letters from solicitors. Possibly too late now, but all that needed to happen was for the DoC to be seen with the alleged OW at an event of some description- didn’t need to be fancy, even one of those casual horse trial things would do. They have done shows of unity for the benefit of the press before, so it wouldn’t be unheard of if all parties were amenable. Five minutes where people show that everything is totally fine between the couples would put any gossip to bed, but for whatever reason PW prefers the aggressive legal route which only adds fuel to the fire. He’s trying to show the press who’s boss but it will bite him on the arse in the long term.

greenpop21 · 25/04/2019 18:17

They said
Rachel I'm sure

sonjadog · 25/04/2019 18:17

Did anyone ever not do something they wanted to because their grandmother summoned them to her house and told them not to?

I am refusing to think about Donald Trump and David Mellor. My brain won't process that awfulness. It would be like the worst orgy ever.

FocusTalk · 25/04/2019 18:19

From 6.15 minutes

Halloumimuffin · 25/04/2019 18:21

All over Twitter but nothing in the press - that only happens when there has been an injunction.

mrscampbellblackagain · 25/04/2019 18:31

I think William would be too scared of Carole to dally elsewhere Wink

But we will never know unless there is a sextape Wink Actually I may tweet that and use some bots because apparently everything on twitter is verified fact.

MrsSteve · 25/04/2019 18:33

He says Harry and Meghan Confused

MrsSteve · 25/04/2019 18:35

Maybe I didn’t watch for long enough - I couldn’t be bothered tbh Grin

I don't think you should believe the royal PR machine any more than you would the gutter press

FocusTalk · 25/04/2019 18:38

@MrsSteve DD (6yo at the time) is obsessed with them and she made me rewatch it for a month before bedtime, so I probably could recite the entire thing word for word by now. Grin

MrsSteve · 25/04/2019 18:40

Ok - I take your word for it then Grin

PCohle · 25/04/2019 18:49

I don't see what's so wrong with the Royals taking out injunctions though. They exist for a reason.

There's no evidence that Kate and this random woman have even fallen out, such that a reason needs to be dreamt up to explain it.

Hushnownobodycares · 25/04/2019 18:53

I'd be very surprised if it's true and even if it is I don't believe it is in the publics interest to know these things.

If we weren't funding the royals leeching lifestyle I'd agree with you.

Aragog · 25/04/2019 19:05

hey didn’t say their full names which legally I thought you had to?

Think it has to be written on the records, but not necessarily said out loud.

tanpestryfirescreen · 25/04/2019 19:05

Queen Mary? George VII?

George the VII is only 6 years old- give him time.
