Well his friends were the groomsmen. They only had 8 in the end so 2 had dropped out. Some of his other friends must have RSVPd not coming as that was why the bride was phoning people up to fill the spaces. That's how DB2s daughter ended up with an invite.
Yes, it would appear that the majority of the places went to the bride and her family.

I know Coffee. It's like they wanted the traditional ceremony but they were too blind to see how that would pan out.
On FB it's all "great to share this with our friends and families" stuff, but what the brides family must be thinking I just don't know.

They probably tried to avoid the 'side's' thing in the church but people generally stick to their side regardless if told to sit any where.

The bride's family is probably thinking that the groom's family disapproves of the marriage and is boycotting the wedding. Especially as some of the few who did turn up didn't stay for the evening.

If the photos are unbalanced as well then I imagine that would hit them hard. Their wedding seems to be all about appearances, and that doesn't look good.

Wrecked family relationships, annoyed and offended friends due to lack of child invites, bad manners from bride and groom on the day - you don't abandon guests in between the breakfast and evening receptionist and not even tell them what's going on!

Bets on how long the actual marriage will last? It sounds so unbalanced at the wedding I can't help but think the relationship is too.

What is wrong with some people when they decide to get married? They can't have had a nice time surely.

I suspect the B&G stayed in their room after the ceremony to yell & scream at each other over the fiasco. There would have been many mutterings they couldn't have avoided hearing & reality & their egos got into a great big car crash.
