Yes OP should be on holiday on the day of the wedding. If it is today, surely we'd get the full low down tomorrow when she's gathered all the Goss from her her mum (legend), her DD and the daughter of DB2.
It will be interesting to know how DB1 has reacted to all of this as time has gone on. Settle in, hopefully we will hear tomorrow

I didn't manage to catch the date ... but I did see the OP say it was on the most popular weekend of the summer, so I assumed it would be the last weekend of August for the bank holiday?

OP said they'd picked the "most busy holiday weekend", and in a later post, that it was in August. No mention of actual dates.

I would love to update but the actual wedding/disco doesn't take place till Aug 4th, so a long wait.

I thought it was tomorrow, I believe Sunday weddings are half the price of a Saturday. Sunday weddings are very popular because of this reason. Can’t wait for an update. Great thread.

I have also just read both threads in full so only just caught up with this. Forgive me for wanting to get into the spirit of things and join in with this discussion and see what the outcome is.

Maybe the DN (Dickhead Nephew) will need to start dragging random strangers off the street to fill any gaps.. like beggars or joggers/ dog walkers/ parties of OAPs out for a nice day trip....
