I was thinking more in terms of tying Pence up and putting him in a coal-cellar until the following day, but I suppose it isn't practical.

Yep, it’s really, really complicated, like, really. 19 effects complicated. The trouble is his increasingly deluded base simply hear the key phrases “rigged system” and “we got it down” and they’re clapping and cheering.

This is good. Corbyn has rejected attending State Banquet with Trump when he is here in June. Alongside John Bercow and Vince Cable.

Cable said that the UK "should not be beguiled by pomp and circumstance into hobnobbing with a man who is on record as a misogynist and a racist."

All pro-Trump posters disappeared except a poor soul who complained in a couple of posts that they had been left all alone. All sometime between Christmas and the New Year post-election.

Personally I think she should be washing her hair! I suppose she will be doing her duty as she has no choice but I hope she wears the brooch Obama gave to her like last time when she met Trump!

The sad thing is that he won't notice any carefully-coded insults in the menu, because he is too self-centred and ignorant to realise it is being done, and serving less-than-the-best wine (which she is said to do for people she really dislikes) won't work on him because he doesn't drink.

The brooch thing isn't a fact, alas: www.snopes.com/fact-check/queen-elizabeth-trump-brooch/ I wish it were, but I don't think she'd do it because it would be too obvious and she is always rather careful not to let on about how she feels. She has to stay apolitical.

What, if anything, is Trump likely to give her? I bet whatever it is will be vulgar as all hell get out, judging by his taste in decor.

If the Queen uses any of the sentences on the yellow column, Trump will still think she means the pink column. She won't need to use any from the green.

You just knew this was going to happen. Jacob Wohl needs to be put in a secure location with all his devices taken away for for the duration of Trump’s presidency. He’s already been kicked off Twitter at the very least. (He also attempted to frame Robert Mueller with sexual misconduct allegations - this only led to his firing and an active FBI investigation against him. He obviously hasn’t learned his lesson.)

BTW, if you read Trump’s Twitter regularly and the comments, you may be familiar with the commenter ‘CC’. Although CC is supposedly female, many people believe it to a shadow account of Jacob Wohl. The posting style is eerily similar to his when he was active: sycophantic, angry, frighteningly jack-boot, and utterly without sympathy.

Oh dear. I shouldn't laugh, because the constant Machievellian fakery – and in particular choosing sexual assault as the topic for fake claims – is actually quite serious.
