A&E? Help! (This is truly disgusting)

I came back from somewhere tropical just over a week ago.
Had some mosquito bites that got infected and turned into cellulitis. That’s clearing up with antibiotics.

But now I can see what’s in there and I have actual maggot things.

Fucking help me!

It’s 3am. It is excruciatingly painful and I can feel them move.

I had much Prosecco yesterday as did H. I could wake DD up or could waiti til morning. But i am freaking out badly.

All of you feeling safe in the UK, any who have livestock will know we also have our own bot flies in the UK!

Farmers have to treat for bot fly (meaning the larval stage is parasitic and needs a host then hatches from the host)

Horse owners are fully aware of the nasty bot flies (which is where my familiarity came from)

Mango fly is just one of the forms of bit fly.

They're also known as 'warble' flies.

Insect world is wonderful isn't it. Gross!

I’m surprised you didn’t have every member of a&e saff trooping in for a look! Would definitely break up the monotony of all the injured drunks and sports players they get on a weekend!

The Sussex family are being sent off to live in Africa, apparently. Just hope they pack their iron and ironing board.

Still a bit sore but nothing in comparison to last night and realising what was in there.
It’s all really quite unpleasant and not really what i had planned for Easter.
