AIBU to hate cute words for food?

As in adults talking to each other saying they enjoy “a couple of squares of choccy” or “a couple of biccies” or some “veggies”.
And the word “nibbles” as in “she put some nibbles out on the table”.
Sounds so tossy to me.

I agree with you OP. I also hate the word ‘yum’ or ‘yummy’ in any context other than trying to convince a baby to try a new food.

I was about to tell you YABU but actually I hate 'nibbles' too. Really twee and suburban, and also reminds me of rabbits. Weirdly I don't mind 'din dins' though I would never say it myself. Dip dip though - what the fuck?
