As in adults talking to each other saying they enjoy “a couple of squares of choccy” or “a couple of biccies” or some “veggies”.
And the word “nibbles” as in “she put some nibbles out on the table”.
Sounds so tossy to me.

I once went on a date with a very tall handsome man, who I was rather struck by - right until a Dairy Milk ad came on at the cinema, and he turned his beautiful eyes upon me and said, "Yummy."

Noooooooo

OJ irritates me. Both fey and American.
PJs for pyjamas likewise.

I don’t like roasties, yorkies, sarnies (such an unattractive nasal sound) .

Can’t stand cuppa, especially when written repeatedly in MN posts (“so I asked him to make a cuppa, she was in the kitchen making a cuppa, they sit around expecting cuppas etc” ) but bearable if two people sit down together and say verbally ‘let’s have a cuppa’.

Spag Bowl nearly became a ‘thing’ following a MN typo, I think.

Being twee about food is incredibly annoying

Any words to describe enjoyment of food such as tasty, yummy and nom nom (the worst one) are awful. I don't like being describing their appetite (terrible word!) for food generally - "I'm famished/ starving etc" or"Mmmmm I need something hot / something sweet" also set my teeth on edge. Choose what you want but don't tell us all about i5.

Actually any Mmmmm noises from anyone above about 10 are beyond the pale.

cheeky, cheating, sneaky or dirty these are very annoying too
