I'd read that filing as a request for the max. What the judge may decide could be different, of course.

The jist I'm getting from the memo is "Throw the book at him. And if you don't, we reserve the right to contest the sentence".

Manafort lied and lied and lied, then lied again, apparently. Nothing but the best people!

Do you know who the judge is, Across ?

It's Amy Berman Jackson, the same judge that's hearing the Roger Stone case. You know, the one who just read Stone the riot act and imposed the gag order.

IIRC, Stone's lawyer filed a motion for a new judge because she was the Manafort judge, but it was determined that the same judge should hear both cases.
