What is it about certain people’s faces..

... that totally rubs you up the wrong way. I mean, they might be a perfectly lovely person, but there’s something about their face that makes you want to punch them.

Take Keira Knightly for example.

I appreciate she is beautiful, that’s not the issue, it’s just something about her face that I find so irritating.

Perez Hilton. Very annoying face.

There’s a few more that I can’t recall right now but AIBU?

Poor Xander! He's lovely! Though his singing isn't the greatest.

Anyhow I've always found Dame Judi Dench's face extremely annoying. And Jenny Eclair. Looks like a bolshy hedgehog.

I used to have a big problem with Bill Nighy but I don't mind him now. I think it's just he was once so ubiquitous.

OMG, I thought I was the only one who gets aarrgghhh at Keira Knightley's face! lol! She's pretty at a certain angle, but her face looks lile a plastic doll's face that has been pushed in a bit.

My DH has this unreasonable hatred for people too. The one he hates most is a sweet, gently spoken tv presenter called Paul Martin. Once he saw him on the tv and said, with no provocation whatsoever, ‘I’d never get tired of kicking that cunt’.

Richard E Grant. I don’t get it.

Naga Munchetty - mainly because she is always wearing sleeveless or cap sleeve tops which are horrible even to look at in February. Plus she likes golf which is unnatural in a young woman.

I would also like to add my neighbour and his sister. They give me the absolute rage, and she is just a phoney, smug twat that I could happily beat the crap out of on a daily basis!

I think it’s because they make their living off interacting with normal people but they have an air about them of they actually hold normal people as being so very far far below them. Like all the friendly or gushy interactions are so forced and the normal person they are talking to is completely interchangeable to the next a bit pathetic normal person. Maybe it’s picking up on the fakeness and surface-only interaction that makes it so horrible to watch?

Omg I hate Paul Martin too and I can't explain it because ostensibly he is perfectly inoffensive. I would hold your dh's coat while he claqued the shit out of him.

Morning, everyone. We've had a few reports on this thread and have removed some posts.

We do understand the irrational annoyance that perfectly innocent celeb faces might invoke but do keep it light, please. If the thread tips over into just being really nasty (or a stream of threats of punches to celeb fizzogs) we will have to zap it.
