What is it about certain people’s faces..

... that totally rubs you up the wrong way. I mean, they might be a perfectly lovely person, but there’s something about their face that makes you want to punch them.

Take Keira Knightly for example.

I appreciate she is beautiful, that’s not the issue, it’s just something about her face that I find so irritating.

Perez Hilton. Very annoying face.

There’s a few more that I can’t recall right now but AIBU?

Gemma Collins gives my DP the rage. I walked into him shouting at the TV.
Anthony Cotton for me.

wildbhoysmama · 15/02/2019 10:13

OMG, I apologise profusely, my ' slanting eyes' comment was NOT explained well. I know what I mean, but failed to explain!

This particular woman has eyes which slant upwards as she smiles ( not a genuine smile, a grimace really) and looks you up and down as if you've been dragged in by the cat. The eyes are cold and dead they just happen to go upwards into her (over plucked) eyebrows, ie the slanting. No reference to ethnicity at all (.she's a red head). Sorry.

Totally agree.
David Cameron and Owen Farrell are mine.

goingonabearhunt1 · 15/02/2019 10:28

Jimmy Carr
Benedict Cumberbatch

FruminousBandersnatch · 15/02/2019 10:30

This won’t be popular but Stephen Fry. I’d like to claque that smug look right off his smarmy tete.

lottielady · 15/02/2019 10:32

Eva Green, the mawky-faced cow.

TheTitOfTheIceberg · 15/02/2019 10:33

Laura Kuenssberg always looks as though she's judging you for having worn that outfit, and she'll be bitching about you to her Mean Girl friends as soon as you've switched off the TV.

Julia Bradbury is the one I'd happily claque in the tete. I'm sure she's a lovely woman, kind to orphans and stray dogs but she makes me want to put a foot through the telly.

RedForShort · 15/02/2019 10:41

I've a face type I dislike - tall forehead and thin barely there lips. Can't think of a woman who has this look, as only men are springing to mind, but David Cameron would be my example.

mimibunz · 15/02/2019 10:43

Oh gosh, so many people deserve a proper claque, where do I begin?
Trump!
Gove, with those awful lips
Kirsty Allslop
Laura Kuennsberger
Naga Munchetty
Katie Price

Ollypops14 · 15/02/2019 11:10

Holly Willoughby and her voice

PineappleFwitters · 15/02/2019 11:24

Gosh, I was bullied relentlessly at school for not having “the right look” or because my “face was annoying” according to a certain clique.

Nice to see the mean girls spirit alive and well on Mumsnet Hmm

PentreBachCymraeg · 15/02/2019 11:35

Katie Hopkins
Holly Willoughby
Phil Schofield
Theresa May
Tony Blair and Cherie Blair
Colleen Nolan

Nice to see the mean girls spirit alive and well on Mumsnet

I thought the same thing pineapple.

Apparently it's ok though because mumsnet 'do understand the irrational annoyance that perfectly innocent celeb faces might invoke.' Hmm It's not funny, it's just nasty and much of it is very personal.

Bluntness100 · 15/02/2019 12:52

Hmmm, I'm not sure I agree I for one am a mean girl because I don't like the look of Jacob Rees mogg. I think that's an entirely natural human reaction 🤣

wildbhoysmama · 15/02/2019 12:54

Bluntness Grin.

Aridane · 15/02/2019 13:15

Laura Kuenssberg

Zoflorabore · 15/02/2019 13:42

Oh god just thought of another

Beth Tweddle, even her name annoys me.

SoSaidTheHorse · 15/02/2019 13:43

Hugh Jackman annoys me. He always looks so pleased with himself for being Hugh Jackman.

SoSaidTheHorse · 15/02/2019 13:44

I don't want to punch him though. He just annoys me.

Toomuchworking · 15/02/2019 13:44
