To think tv sex is so far fetched! <jealous>

Me and dh have been watching power and to say the sex scenes are some right hot stuff would be an understatement 🤭

All these women with great tits and pert bums is making me feel..well a little bit of a shambles 🙈

These men are able to pick these women up and throw them around like a rag doll and not even get a sweat on fgs.

Dh is sitting here at the other end of the sofa with his jaw basically resting on his lap. And I'm trying hard not to gawp so obviously at omari's firm round arse 🙈

All the time im thinking of the states me and dh are ( I'm sat here in penguin pjs with fluffy bed socks and a matching penguin eye mask on my forehead, while dh is chomping down on his steak and kidney pie. In my dressing and my slippers that are 5 sizes to small for him so only the toes are covered) we're not even half sexy looking tonight.

And the chance of us having some spontaneous, rip your cloths off sex is 0% since our house is like Piccadilly fucking Circus with dc teenage friends walking through the living room every five fucking seconds 🙈

I know it's only tv 🙈 but I'm wondering does anyone else feel inadequate when watching these kind of scenes or is it just me 🤭

Nobody cares about morning breath on TV either!

AnyFucker · 25/01/2019 22:32

No mopping up ever happens either

MayhemandMadness01 · 25/01/2019 22:41

I never seen someone on the telly running for a towel to do the deed on because you only washed the sheets that morning.

Nor when having sex in front of log fire do one of them constantly have a foot on the door just in case.

KlutzyDraconequus · 25/01/2019 22:41

Mopping?

Fuck, I'm doing something very wrong, most I've ever needed is a baby wipe... Or a t-shirt..

LuggsaysNotaWomen · 25/01/2019 22:42

Or penis beakering.

StubbleTurnips · 25/01/2019 22:47

Mayhem ahahaha - the towel issue struck a chord here.

Bookfour · 25/01/2019 22:51

i wasn't expecting baked beans to feature so much in this thread

gentlyscented · 25/01/2019 22:52

Not a penis beaker in sight 😂

What properly boggles my head is how the dudes manage to do telly sex without getting a hard on.

I saw an interview with an actor once being asked about this - I can't remember who it was but it was a fairly big Hollywood star iirc - anyway he said you were damned if you did as your co-star might be annoyed/uncomfortable but also damned if you didn't as your co-star might be offended!

What channel are you and DH on? Grin

whatamidoingwithmylife · 25/01/2019 23:06

Just been watching Delicious and that's pretty fucking ridiculous too. They're all shagging anyone that moves, one kiss and then they're in bed having the time of their lives Confused.

I do wonder if these ridiculous Tv sex scenes are to blame for my partner's increasing attempts to shag me against random walls in my house. He's no chance of managing it face to face as he's hoping for as I'm 4st heavier and he's almost as short as I am Shock.

Finla · 25/01/2019 23:10

I love the sex scenes in Power, they are hot!! But yes... the thought of someone picking me up like that makes me cringe slightly Wink

gentlyscented · 25/01/2019 23:16

I thought game of thrones had a lot of sex in but this is on another level. Every episode has got an explosive shag scene or more.I'm fucking knackered just watching them 😬 we're nearly at the end of season 1 and I don't know if I can take anymore, it's getting quite uncomfortable to watch. Almost like when a sex scene comes on when your watching tv with your dad 🙈 don't want dh getting any ideas as well, my poor body would break!

It's the animalistic fervor that flummoxes me.

If Dh and I went at it like some of the telly scenes, for sure we would have banged heads, clashed teeth and somebody would have got the wrong kind of bony bit in the "soft and delicates" within the first twenty seconds. Proceedings would need to be aborted and basic first aid administered.

MawkishTwaddle · 26/01/2019 03:11

Anyone else googling Power?

Arkos · 26/01/2019 03:22

I once had standing up sex... years ago. My then bf was huge...6ft4... and i was a comparatively slender 9 stone. Poor dh would do himself a mischief if we ever tried it now I'm about 5 stone heavier🤗

Wingedharpy · 26/01/2019 03:40

Apileofballyhoo - I think that was the late Sir Roger Moore.
He said that prior to theses sort of scenes he would speak to the actress involved and say, "If I get an erection during this take, I do apologise. And if I don't, I also apologise"!

gentlyscented · 26/01/2019 08:47

@LuggsaysNotaWomen yep, that's exactly what would happen here too 😂

SurreyDadV · 28/01/2019 12:08

Try BBC's Wanderlust if you can find it. Still has the unrealistic sex scenes, but at least some reality / humour around condom packets and car sex...

Never seen the "mind the damp patch" dance, or the "how does this **ing thing undo" issue...

Collidascope · 28/01/2019 12:23

So true about the 0 to 70 in 2 seconds flat thing. We were watching a French drama before Christmas and my OH was commenting on how the ladies were all good to go after a peck on the lips and being backed up against a wall.
I reminded him it was fiction.

Yeah, this drives me mad. Given most women can't orgasm from PIV, seems pretty bloody selfish of the bloke to instantly just start thrusting away. I can't believe there aren't women on any of these sets saying, "actually, perhaps he should go down for a bit first" or "it's really unlikely she's going to come from him doing that."

They never show the lady nipping off to the loo after. Or having to clear a pile of ironing off the bed before jumping into bed.

LeoTab · 28/01/2019 13:49

OMG I am crying with laughther at some of these posts - i think this has "move to classics" written all over it!
