To think tv sex is so far fetched! <jealous>

Me and dh have been watching power and to say the sex scenes are some right hot stuff would be an understatement 🤭

All these women with great tits and pert bums is making me feel..well a little bit of a shambles 🙈

These men are able to pick these women up and throw them around like a rag doll and not even get a sweat on fgs.

Dh is sitting here at the other end of the sofa with his jaw basically resting on his lap. And I'm trying hard not to gawp so obviously at omari's firm round arse 🙈

All the time im thinking of the states me and dh are ( I'm sat here in penguin pjs with fluffy bed socks and a matching penguin eye mask on my forehead, while dh is chomping down on his steak and kidney pie. In my dressing and my slippers that are 5 sizes to small for him so only the toes are covered) we're not even half sexy looking tonight.

And the chance of us having some spontaneous, rip your cloths off sex is 0% since our house is like Piccadilly fucking Circus with dc teenage friends walking through the living room every five fucking seconds 🙈

I know it's only tv 🙈 but I'm wondering does anyone else feel inadequate when watching these kind of scenes or is it just me 🤭

@whiteworld it's like a youth club 90% of the time 🙈😂

@Goldenhedgehogs I've been very tempted to leave them on but dh refuses. Git!

@Cookiedough123 I used to think he was just having me on so he didn't have to attempt to cook. But he full on gags at the sight of them 😂 ds can't go near them either it's weird.

All that screwing on kitchen counters. I do wonder about the anatomical possibility of this in many cases. And legs around the waist, against walls. How many of us could do that?

gaggiagirl · 25/01/2019 21:52

I find the sex on escape at dannemora to be quite 'real' and for that reason it made it harder to watch. I was blushing.

I've spilled vegetable soup down my comfy jumper.

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 25/01/2019 21:52

Some actors have confessed to, erm, having become too obviously in the moment during sex scenes. Some guy from Desperate Housewives, I think, and possibly Henry Cavill during a scene in The Tudors?

Apparently, they "needed a moment" to compose themselves before being able to get up from the bed...

gentlyscented · 25/01/2019 21:55

@midsomermurderess not to mention going in bone dry 🙈 just straight up against that wall and bobs your uncle! How? Why are they not so Fiddly!?

@gaggiagirl ah bummer 😔

@TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross I'm not surprised. There some hot scenes 😬

Exdp and I got frisky on afternoon, he picked me up to carry me to the bedroom, dropped me in the hallway and clung to the door frame- his back had gone. Resulted in 6 weeks off work. (I was a size 8, and he was 6ft2 all muscle, rugby player stamp). He told his family he was moving furniture for me, took us 10 years to admit the truth, and they said they guessed it had be something like that all along🙈

MawkishTwaddle · 25/01/2019 22:01

The thing I find most disconcerting is the way the women come in 0.9 seconds flat.

I take a glacial age to get there. Poor old DP needs to use both hands and take a head torch and sandwiches down there if I’ve forgotten to charge my vibrator.

7Days · 25/01/2019 22:02

Oooh you've made me feel a spark of something, a feeling I used to know.... when you mentionedHenry Cavill and his - work ethic.

whiteworld · 25/01/2019 22:02

Twaddle- 😂😂😂😂

Petalflowers · 25/01/2019 22:05

My dh always plays, ‘spot the woman still wearing her bra in bed’ game,

Lollypop701 · 25/01/2019 22:10

@MawkishTwaddle
Grin bloody brilliant!

cupcakesandglitter · 25/01/2019 22:11

Oh god I was so flustered through the whole of power 😅 cracking up at the thought of your DH wearing your dressing gown though 😂 @MawkishTwaddle couldn't agree more. And also the men don't really do anything and it's like an instant orgasm 😂

Villanellenovella · 25/01/2019 22:11

Telly sex gets on my nerves - always banging hard up against a wall or woman on top arching her back looking amazing, making loads of noise - most drama is directed by men - it's their idealised version of things - although to be fair 50 shades was directed by a woman but that's a bit like cartoon sex

wasnotwasweregood · 25/01/2019 22:13

So true about the 0 to 70 in 2 seconds flat thing. We were watching a French drama before Christmas and my OH was commenting on how the ladies were all good to go after a peck on the lips and being backed up against a wall.
I reminded him it was fiction.

Yabbers · 25/01/2019 22:14

The sex scenes aren’t the problem. It’s the fact they wake up next day, a little bit tousled with full make up on. I’m like something out of zombie apocalypse.

Villanellenovella · 25/01/2019 22:14

Obviously will have to watch it now!

Grace212 · 25/01/2019 22:16

this is going to bug me now...there was a show on the BBC about 10 years ago, maybe BBC3, and the night after it was on, everyone at work was talking about how realistic the sex scene was and how it might have been filmed.

I think it was about a man who imagined himself with different personalities....the only title I could think of was Multiplicity but a search doesn't show any TV I recognise.

so I guess sometimes they get it right!

gentlyscented · 25/01/2019 22:18

I'm cracking up at some of these posts 😂 dh keeps asking what I'm laughing at and why I ain't watching the tv. I've already had to take off the eye mask and socks because I'm a hot flustering mess!! 😓

StubbleTurnips · 25/01/2019 22:22

YANBU Op, you never see anyone on tv sex doing the lie down pants shuffle either.

You know the half on / half off situation, someone always tries to use a foot to remove them from knee height. Or is that just my house Confused

MawkishTwaddle · 25/01/2019 22:26

What about the condom moment? That sensuous fiddling about with the foil packet, then attempting to put it on the wrong way for a good minute before one of you admits you need your glasses...funnily enough that never makes it to the screen...

LoudestRoar · 25/01/2019 22:26

It's the fact that they immediately snuggle after finishing. No awkward waddling to the bathroom to clean up for them!

wasnotwasweregood · 25/01/2019 22:27

Nobody ever gets up for the cystitis-avoiding post-coital wee either do they?

Racecardriver · 25/01/2019 22:29

I much prefer the suggestive roll over a fade out type of sex scene.
