There's pixies in my kitchen that drink my wine. The same ones sew my clothes tighter in the closet.

Bastards.

KitschBitch · 22/01/2019 19:17

Damn those pixies, they get everywhere, they certainly love their vino Grin

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 22/01/2019 19:22

Yes! I'm surrounded by friends lol

I’d be flat out if I drank a bottle lol! A glass or two defo tho.

Jackshouse · 22/01/2019 19:25

I would also be very ill if i drank a bottle of wine.

Biancadelriosback · 22/01/2019 19:26

Weird isn't it! I swear I always leave half but the next morning its empty! I blame the cat

IcedPurple · 22/01/2019 19:26

You know what they say: 1 glass is too much, but 2 is not enough.

ErrolTheDragon · 22/01/2019 19:27

I'd be ill too. DH and I very rarely finish a bottle of wine between us.

SauvignonMum · 22/01/2019 19:27

If you don't do it often, I don't see the harm

BabyDarlingDollfaceHoney · 22/01/2019 19:28

I'd be in for a three day hangover!

southnownorth · 22/01/2019 19:29

Mumsnet is not the right place to joke about alcohol.

Piebeansandchips · 22/01/2019 19:29

I currently have a 1/4 left of a bottle of red wine, sat on the counter looking at me. It's been there since Saturday night. I'm not exactly sure what to do with it as this never happens. The bottles get emptied and go in the recycling. This has really thrown me

rosamacrose · 22/01/2019 19:42

I have a quarter bottle of some ver naice organic rose in the fridge.
I've had a g&t.
I'll probably drink it.

Oh! Look!
There we are, I've lured it into a glass.
Job done.
Telly.

BarbaraofSevillle · 22/01/2019 19:43

I swear my bottle of gin evaporates while sat there in the cupboard. Alcohol does that, right?

Screamish · 22/01/2019 19:47

I've sunk a bottle in 3 glasses since 18.30 (tough day, day off tomorrow). Definitely a portion. Won't even have a hangover (bottle 2 is the killer).

MN is definitely not the place though, a lot of "I only drink one small glass at Christmas every 7 years" types will be along to tell us off shortly Grin

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 22/01/2019 19:49

@southnotnorth I'm not joking Smile

Ain't that the truth. "I remember having a glass of rose at my sister's wedding 100 years ago but if I so much as look at a bottle of the stuff in Tesco I have a hangover the next day."

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 22/01/2019 19:51

Sorry meant @southnownorth

Are you me? I don't remember writing this or name changing, maybe I need to cut down on the vino.

southnownorth · 22/01/2019 19:53

I have no doubt you aren't joking OP.

I can easily polish off a bottle as well.

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 22/01/2019 19:54

Yay @southnownorth glad your not judging x

Steady on. I have consumed about 3/4 of a bottle of red already tonight following a hard day at work. This is not going to end well and the Mumsnet Temperance Movement will be here soon!

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 22/01/2019 19:55

@flippingheck44 sod em
