Now, onto those boys - I’ve seen the full videos. They could have not responded to the black Israelites/walked away. Instead they asked stupid questions and provoked them further. In full, they behaved like a mob of uncontrolled racist, sexist idiots. They knew nobody would pull them up on their behaviour. The fact that adults are now defending that behaviour is sickening to me.

I never “got” the wall (though I know Trump followers did). It’s nuts. It’s impractical. It’s ineffective. It would be impossible to build. But like so many implausible things being sold to ignorant and gullible people (both Trump and Brexit related), it sounds as though it would be a solution to some perceived threat, so they accept it.
Was the wall always intended simply as a mechanism to close down the US government if Democrats gained the House, given it would be unlikely to ever get funding? Or should I drink less coffee, go to bed earlier, and give up overthinking things?
