Roast dinner if I could

Nothisispatrick · 14/01/2019 20:31

Chips

EspressoPatronum · 14/01/2019 20:32

Pasta. All the pasta.

BunsOfAnarchy · 14/01/2019 20:34

I could eat daal for every meal of every day.
But i need to make room for pizza and pasta and crisps.

AskMeHow · 14/01/2019 20:35

I could easily eat daal every day. YANBU!

TulipsInbloom1 · 14/01/2019 20:35

A roast dinner.

As long as it was cooked for me.

KlutzyDraconequus · 14/01/2019 20:36

What's the Daal with Daal? I don't think I've had it before.

EssentialHummus · 14/01/2019 20:37

Ha, I'm doing this at the mo!

I'm 5:2ing, and something vaguely dhal-like (lentils, onions, curry powder, garlic, with cauliflower chucked in at the end) is the tastiest, most filling low-cal-ish thing I could come up with. I end up eating it most days tbh. It's yummy.

If I wasn't watching my weight? No idea. But cake with fondant icing for dessert.

TheseThingsAreFunAndFunIsGood · 14/01/2019 20:38

Does it not make you fart for England??! 🤔 Love dhal too but gives me atrocious wind.... 🙄

EssentialHummus · 14/01/2019 20:38

Or a yule log can you tell I'm fasting today?.

EssentialHummus · 14/01/2019 20:38

Not really these. I thought it would, but I'm no fartier.

RedWineIsFabulous · 14/01/2019 20:38

YANBU

I would eat chips and burgers and crisps and pizza.

Every day.

I’d be too worried about the effects on my bowel!!!

RLABC · 14/01/2019 20:39

Salt & vinegar or any meat flavoured crisps.
Marmite on toast.
Pork pies.
Sausage rolls.
Bacon sarnies.
Basically, anything pork based!

Unfortunately I live somewhere where none of these are an option. I usually just have homemade veggie soup every day Sad

IWannaBeYourFordCortina · 14/01/2019 20:40

Dauphinois potatoes.

I bloody love them

drspouse · 14/01/2019 20:41

I'd eat dhal too but nobody else in the family would.

PurpleDaisies · 14/01/2019 20:41

Curry.

Love daal.

Openandshut · 14/01/2019 20:41

YABU not to share the recipe you use.

HoraceCope · 14/01/2019 20:42

hmm, cauliflower, now that I have to add

OP posts:
ShatnersBassoon · 14/01/2019 20:43

I would happily eat dhal every day because it's delicious, but my guffs would get me arrested.

I would go for macaroni cheese every day.

HoraceCope · 14/01/2019 20:44

The recipe?
people have disagreed with my recipe but its a proper one from a book

for me tonight,
100 oz red lentils
water, not sure how much
bring to boil, add a finely sliced onion, and clove of garlic, turmeric , cook until porridge consistency, add cumin seeds, salt, fry sliced garlic and add.
eat with rice

YABU not to share a lovely recipe for Daal if it's that good!

HoraceCope · 14/01/2019 20:45

guffs?
i think my body has learnt to tolerate, unsure of co workers.

CarrieBlu · 14/01/2019 20:45

Ooh I love a good lentil dish. If I was going to eat something everyday it would be cheesy lentil wedges - the cranks recipe.

AmateurPrepper · 14/01/2019 20:46

Sorry, cross posted.
