To think Harry and Meghan’s photo is odd looking?!

Just having a look at the royal family Christmas card pics. Very nice. Love William and Kate’s family pic. How sweet are those kids 😍

Lots of people on Twitter raving about Meghan and Harry’s photo. I genuinely really like Harry and Meghan. Nothing against them whatsoever.

But I absolutely refuse to believe that i am alone in thinking their photo is so awkward looking!

She looks stunning and the background is amazing but it just looks weird! I think it’s the way he’s standing. It’s not elegant. It looks really odd to me.

Anyone else??

I would say it's definitely Meghan's choice and shows her love of social media and arty 'lifestyle-signalling' images. But Harry is so in love that he is convinced it's to his taste too!

All supposition of course as I don't know them but this is the impression created.

Hmm It's a wedding photo. They got married this year. It's fine.

The Cambridges' photo isn't Christmassy either, it's just s family photo.

I quite like Harry and Meg's - it avoids comments about is she smiling naturally, he looks uncomfortable, she looks fat from that angle, I never did like her dress, don't they look smug, he looks like he needs a pint, she looks quite short in that pic, showing off again, they just look superior......... but should have guessed there would be catty comments about a b&w back view anyway.
I would say it shows them stepping out in to the world together, instead of two singles, v nice imv.

Its a terrible photo as harry leg looks strange but their chose. If they like it so be it. Agree its not xmasie but how cares they in love and its all new and tbh next year they do a better one with baby.

I'll tell you what is racist; people not being able to comment on a photo without others chiming in and making it about race. If Kate and Will had done a similar photo I would have said it was pretentious. It's just wrong to put Meghan above comment because she's mixed race. That is racist.

I agree! Don’t really give a shit about the Royal Family but love Harry and Megan as a couple, and think his stance is really odd. He’s standing like a little kid. And I find it a bit strange that it’s a shot of their backs?

I like Will and Kate’s more, but it is overexposed.

They've just got married and are releasing another photo from their wedding as their official Christmas photo. She's pregnant and probably knew everyone on mumsnet would slag off a more up to date one of her whatever she did.

I know it isn't Christmassy, but it's very new years eve like with the fireworks. Almost like they are looking forward to something in the new year. Smile Good luck to them all.

It’s a terrible photo and so is the one chosen by the Cambridge family. Nothing says “ghastly smug feckers” like Christmas cards that feature you or your family. The only family I want to see on a Christmas card are Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus.
