I was looking for reviews for this show before I decide whether to buy tickets and came across this one. What a charmer! Surely you review the show and the venue, not make judgemental, misogynistic comments about the women in the audience? I am surprised it got published.

If you read his other reviews there are an amusing amount of errors, like new instead of knew, which I find quite satisfying from such a pompous knob.

I think it's quite amusing but more seriously, I'm a believer in free speech and luckily this is not Orwell's 1984. It's not your job to censor reviews and you obviously have too much time on your hands.

Yeah I'm with Sally - he's undoubtedly a barely literate cunt but then so are a goodly proportion of contributors to trip advisor. My DF almost bases his choice on it now - if somewhere has a stinking and ridiculous review from someone who is quite clearly a twat he sees it as a sign that he'll probably like it 😂

Maybe it's because I'd have no problem putting something like "full of daft old codgers stinking of pound shop Brut" in a review myself that this didn't bother me.

I found it funny. I was also 'surrounded by bloated, prosecco fuelled, menopausal middle aged women attempting to throw some shapes' at a Stereophonics gig...can't be offended really, seeing as I am one myself, (apart from the fact I don't drink and wasn't throwing shapes haha)

It's a bit like "oh no women are having a nice time, let's put them off by ridiculing them. Can't have that". And "oh some women have found an affordable (compared to Champagne) drink they actually enjoy. Better make that into an object of scorn too".

blackteasplease, on the contrary to putting me off, it'd make me think it's my kind of show and clearly enjoyed by other women of my age. As for prosecco, it's the current 'trendy' popular drink, just as gin is.
