I may get flamed for this, but...I think the worst thing about it is that many, many people who generally want to be on his side have explained to him over and over again how racism and sexism work & affect people's lives in very real ways, and Bernie...either can't or won't get it.

Bernie is another old white man who needs to give it up and step aside for the future. (And I say this as an old-ish white woman)

He does have form for this, so no flaming from me. I was just stumped about what other possible interpretation I was missing as it seems incredible to offer this up as a defence.

Sorry, I'm still stuck n horror on the Orwellian nightmare that is the Sarah Sanders’ doctored video of the intern accosting Jim Acosta. People are seeing fake news in action and accepting it as real. It’s a nightmare.

Some lawyers are calling this tweet an impeachable offence. It certainly is interference and unacceptable for him to insist that a state voted one way or the other before the vote count is finalised.

It was clear as day on the BBC footage that he did nothing and if anybody was at fault it was the mic grabber aggressively invading his personal space. He was very controlled and non aggressive.

Why is holding onto a mic deemed ejection worthy but boasting about grabbing women by the genitals on camera isn’t?

Why isn’t America up in arms and why aren’t the media and politicians insisting Acosta gets reinstated?

President doesn't like him, but calls him to as question, Acosta pushes as he alwyas does, fragile looking intern at the ready to grab microphone (why would she out of the blue?), President goes on a rant about how bad Acosta is, video is shown of Acosta touching the woman.
