Why does Corbyn get a free pass on pro-feminist Mumsnet?

His gang of hard left thugs and goons in 'Momentum' bashed a female Jewish protestor outside a meeting yesterday.

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6284119/police-probe-Jewish-woman-kicked-repeatedly-head-protesting-Momentum-meeting.html

Imagine if this had happened outside a Tory supporters' meeting?

You'd already have dozens of posts on here.

I don't think I'm being unreasonable by suggesting that Momentum are a vile, hateful, bigoted and anti Semitic organisation, but what about the passive aggressive, creepy old git 'leading' the Labour Party and this Trotskyist cult?

It is a proven fact that 'Mr Principled' has taken countless bungs from the deeply misogynist and homophobic theocratic regime in Tehran over the years. No doubt his nice-'friends' in Hamas and Hezbollah have chipped in too.

Why does he get a free pass on Mumsnet ?

OP posts:

He gets a regular pasting on the MN feminist boards. Corbyn is no friend of women's rights.

araiwa · 17/10/2018 08:17

Regardless of if you are pro or anti corbyn, you must have some special myopia to suggest he gets a free ride on MN

BertrandRussell · 17/10/2018 08:23

Wrong on two counts.

  1. Mumsnet is not pro feminist.
  2. Corbin does not get a free pass.

Oh, and your proof that he takes bungs from Tehran is?

Xenia · 17/10/2018 08:24

I think he's great news for teh Conservative party so I support that all the way - the longer he stays in charge the more likely we will keep Labour out in 2022!

I don't believe he is personally racist or sexist particularly compared with other white public school educated men his age despite being on his third wife who is much younger and despite his having to be reminded to add a woman in a senior role when picking his first cabinet (over heard by a journalist).

If we can all work towards a Tory win in 2022 then we can not worry about Corbyn too much.

peardropexplodes · 17/10/2018 08:27

Well, this is the future if Corbyn gets in. Jewish people might as well start packing their bags for their own safety!

TheQueef · 17/10/2018 08:28

You do cheer me up Xenia
I thought we would never replace Barry Chuckle but I was wrong.

SilverySurfer · 17/10/2018 08:29

Totally agree, Xenia, he's a great asset to the Conservative Party Grin

BumbrainusMaximus · 17/10/2018 08:30

I can’t agree Xenia. The loathsome little gnome and his foul acolytes are poisoning the climate for Jews and for their own political opponents including those in their own party.
He is a malign influence on public life. I don’t want to wait to the next election to have this cancer removed.

NailsNeedDoing · 17/10/2018 08:34

I'd vote for him simply because he stands up for Palestinians which most other politicians are too scared to do because they automatically get labelled as anti Semitic, despite how barbarically they are treated. That's an important enough issue for me that I'm prepared to overlook other things.

StarsAndWater · 17/10/2018 08:35

He doesn't from me and I've not seen anyone support him on here recently.
I'm a Labour voter and I hoped for so much from him when he first took over leadership.
Now, his willingness to look the other way while women lose their rights is the reason I will absolutely not vote Labour in the next election.
It's one thing to vote best of a bad bunch and something else to actively vote for a party that has watering down women's rights as part of their policies and who expels women who object.
I'm utterly furious with him and with Labour.

BumbrainusMaximus · 17/10/2018 08:36

What do you think of those people who put “free Palestine” on the poster advertising the kristallnacht event, nailsneeddoing? Anti Semitic or legitimate protest?

I agree with Xenia too. He and his cronies think they are on a pedestal and can do no wrong, getting down wiv da yoof in universities whilst the hard working amongst us get on with building this country. Look forward to the Tories being in Goverment forever.

easternedge · 17/10/2018 08:41

Can't believe there are people who actually seem to admire the Tory party. Frightening? I'm still confused about how it is that Corbyn is anti-Semitic. Would love an explanation.

Sethis · 17/10/2018 08:42

People really need to stop reading the Daily Fail.

Literally anything would be better than another 10 years of the fucking Tories.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 17/10/2018 08:44

Don't worry the Brexit mess will eventually see off the Tories. It can't be swept under the carpet forever.

Meanwhile...

I do hope you aren't denying that Labour has an anti semitism issue or that it isn't true that there are Jews who are frightened of what will happen into them if he becomes PM.

Justanotherlurker · 17/10/2018 08:46

On the first page!!

OP, he doesn't get the free pass he once did.

SillySallySingsSongs · 17/10/2018 08:46

*happen to them

BumbrainusMaximus · 17/10/2018 08:48

The reason why the daily mail - and others - can produce these stories is because the material is out there. Friends with hamas, the wreath, English irony, inviting that woman who defaced the wall of the Warsaw ghetto to the conference - it’s all there.
I’m intrigued as to why the voices of Jews can be ignored on all this. When other minorities raise concerns do we say shut up it’s just a smear?no, we say their perspectives must be taken into account. Why is it different for Jews?

easternedge · 17/10/2018 08:48

Can somebody explain the ant-semitism issue because I don't see it?

WSPU · 17/10/2018 08:48

Labour does not get a free pass on the FWR board. Many feminists have left the party.

BumbrainusMaximus · 17/10/2018 08:51

Go and google any of the references I’ve given above Eastern edge. Also IHRA definition. come out from under that rock too. This has been news for a good while.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 17/10/2018 08:51

some people would do well to see what is happening right in front on their eyes and the direction the country is taking, not just economically but socially. Hint: Its somewhere in the gutter.
