Why does Corbyn get a free pass on pro-feminist Mumsnet?

His gang of hard left thugs and goons in 'Momentum' bashed a female Jewish protestor outside a meeting yesterday.

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6284119/police-probe-Jewish-woman-kicked-repeatedly-head-protesting-Momentum-meeting.html

Imagine if this had happened outside a Tory supporters' meeting?

You'd already have dozens of posts on here.

I don't think I'm being unreasonable by suggesting that Momentum are a vile, hateful, bigoted and anti Semitic organisation, but what about the passive aggressive, creepy old git 'leading' the Labour Party and this Trotskyist cult?

It is a proven fact that 'Mr Principled' has taken countless bungs from the deeply misogynist and homophobic theocratic regime in Tehran over the years. No doubt his nice-'friends' in Hamas and Hezbollah have chipped in too.

Why does he get a free pass on Mumsnet ?

The lady who ended up in hospital is 70 years old and both victims were jewish. She was kicked repeatedly in the head and had her phone stolen. Security watched on but did nothing. They would not even call the police - the other jewish protesters had to.

Jews were not allowed into the meeting...about antisemitism.

Ironic? I wouldn't know as I am a jew and have lived here all my life - so says Jeremy Corbyn.

Oh, just to add that at a similar event last week, a jewish protester was set alight as he was wearing an Israeli flag.

A kinder gentler politics? No. Antisemites are emboldened now and I fear where this will lead.

MyBeloved · 17/10/2018 10:37

The event was run by Labour/Momentum/JVL and is part of a nationwide roadshow.

MyBeloved · 17/10/2018 10:39

Oh, and the PSC...of whom Jeremy Corbyn is patron.

treezylover · 17/10/2018 10:52

I’m so confused by why anyone would think posting a daily mail link is likely to increase readers’ convictions on a matter 🙄

Thymeout · 17/10/2018 10:52

Bertrand By bungs from Iran, I think the poster is probably referring to the £20,000 Corbyn had to declare as an MP in his annual accounting. It relates to money paid to him by Press TV, an Iranian state-backed channel. £5,000 per programme. They're on YouTube, and in none of the ones I've watched does he criticise the regime or promote British values regarding human rights, which is his usual justification for associating with unsavoury people.

bluerinsesurrey · 17/10/2018 10:55

And the OP hasn't been back.

Quelle surprise, when coupled with a Daily Fail Cuntastic link.

His goons attack a Jewish woman and you shoot the messenger.

Typical of Corbyn supporters.

Corbyn has made numerous appearances over the years as a paid guest on Iranian state television to spout his brand of propaganda under the guise of 'helping the Palestinians'.

The only criticism he seems to get on Mumsnet is from radical trans-hating feminists, but that's nothing compared to the vitriol reserved for grauniad tea boy Owen Jones.

Corbyn seems to get a free pass on popular boards like AIBU despite his tacit support for brutally misogynist regimes ad terrorist organisations in the Islamic world.

iliketomoveitmoveitMOVEIT · 17/10/2018 10:56

I cannot fucking bear him.

But even I don’t think he gets a free pass on here!

OatsBeansBarley · 17/10/2018 11:20

I posted a bit on Corbyn in the past but found the threads became repetitive. And when the holder of an opposing view thinks I signed up just to be anti Corbyn, or I'm a Tory plant/ Blairite/ (Russian bot? No, that's Brexit threads) there's nowhere more for a thread to go.

There were lots of sceptical posters but his supporters are like Duracell bunnies.. I salute their indefatigability!

But meanwhile life beckons..

easternedge · 17/10/2018 11:27

I think the fundamental issue with JC is the idea that he is pro-Palestinian. Taking issue with Israeli treatment of Palestinians isn’t and never has been anti-Semitic. It really doesn’t matter how many times you say it is, it doesn’t make it true.

This ^

How anybody can support Israel I'll never know. Isn't anti-Semitic. Much like denouncing the actions of Saudi Arabia isn't anti Islam.

Thymeout · 17/10/2018 11:31

Oats Yes. I get the same on the Guardian Comment is Free. I must say that the one thing the more deluded Corbynites have in common is a profound ignorance of LP history. Everyone who disagrees with him must be either a Tory or Blue Labour or a Blairite. Even Ed Balls is described as a Blairite, the humour of which goes totally over their heads.

OatsBeansBarley · 17/10/2018 11:36

History begins now.

Justanotherlurker · 17/10/2018 11:40

How anybody can support Israel I'll never know.

Looks like we have a hard left poster who is still basing their beliefs on the USSR.

Criticising the Israeli government isn't anti semitic. People seem to not stop there though and slide easy is to anti semitism and start spouting anti semitic trope.

OatsBeansBarley · 17/10/2018 11:45

Poor woman in the hospital with severe concussion.
Nasty incident especially at her age.

Thymeout · 17/10/2018 11:45

Eastern I'd be more impressed by the extreme Palestinian lobby if they were prepared also to criticise the actions and aims of Hamas and show some recognition of the part played by inter-Palestinian rivalries, Gaza v West Bank, in blocking the peace process.

I don't think it's unreasonable to support Israel's right to exist.

I think Corbyn's being disingenuous on this point. He says he believes in a 2 state solution, but also plays an active part in organisations which fight for the Right to Return. There's a contradiction there.

easternedge · 17/10/2018 11:46

Did you actually just link to a Wikipedia page? Okay doke.

easternedge · 17/10/2018 11:49

I agree. There's a definite contradiction. I'm not corbyns biggest fan tbh - his stance on Brexit is ridiculous and his attitude to Scotland enrages me. I don't believe he's an anti Semite however and the double standards applied to left / right wing politicians baffles me! The Tories can say what they want, align themselves with whoever and that's all good 🤷🏻‍♀️

Justanotherlurker · 17/10/2018 12:00

Did you actually just link to a Wikipedia page? Okay doke.

I did, because when you come out with such hard left comments such as How anybody can support Israel I'll never know.

I thought it prob best everyone else knew where these views stemed from within the hard left of UK politics.

OatsBeansBarley · 17/10/2018 12:03

I can't think of a Tory equivalent to Corbyn as a backbencher (which is when he made all these alliances.)
It irritates too when he then claims to talk to all sides to bring about peace.

He's hopeless, sorry.

havingabadhairday · 17/10/2018 12:09

@Gingerrogered

*It’s same old, same old with Labour though isn’t it? Promise the world, deliver nothing.

I think if he got in, anybody with a public sector job would do very nicely. Everyone else would probably starve.*

Tell that to the people who were working for £1/hr until Labour brought in the minimum wage - something the Tories argued against.

The Tories would also like to strip workers of their rights, and have been rather busy doing their best to stop people claiming benefits, not by getting them into work, but by making the system so fucked up that people either give up or get sanctioned. Lets not forget the cuts to social care, I wonder how many deaths will be hastened by them...

Thymeout · 17/10/2018 12:11

I think it's driven by the shock and shame of long-standing LP members who think the LP should be held to higher standards in terms of issues like racial prejudice than other parties. We expect it of the Tories.

It's always existed on the Far Left - e.g. the GLC old guard. But I can honestly say it hasn't been an issue in the LP until Corbyn. And he's handled it so badly that it's obviously raised questions about where his sympathies lie. He thinks he's anti-semitic, he's visited aa concentration camp, but his idea of anti-semitism is pre-war. I don't think he's v bright and doesn't recognise it in modern situations.

Thymeout · 17/10/2018 12:13

Sorry - my last post was replying to eastern, or anyone else who thinks JC can't possibly be anti-semitic.

Babycham1979 · 17/10/2018 12:16

Firstly OP, your suggestion of corruption with absolutely no proof is libelous. I'm surprised MD haven't bothered to take it down yet.

Secondly, you're linking to the Mail. That's the same hate-filled, lying rag that claimed a pro-zionist bomb-hoax against an anti-zionist Jewish Labour meeting was somehow antisemetic;

www.theguardian.com/politics/2018/sep/25/jewish-event-at-labour-conference-abandoned-after-bomb-scare

I should also point out that Lord Rothermere's Daily Mail was the very same Jewish-friendly newspaper that carried the famous headline, 'Hurrah for The Blackshirts' in suport of a certain A Hitler.

Ultimately, you're either being disingenuous or ignorant to suggest Corbyn doesn't get a pasting on here. He regularly does.

Babycham1979 · 17/10/2018 12:20

The ahistorical posters on here should also be aware that Hamas was created, in part, by Israel as a counter to the secular Fatah. Rather like our idiotic funding of extramist headchoppers in IRaq and Syria, you reap what you sow.

worridmum · 17/10/2018 12:24

The label anti semetic gets thrown about toi easily.

I hate the way the government of Isreal acts and how they treat the Palestines yet me calling out the Isreali government brands me a anti Semitic (i have no problems with jewish people ) just the government of Israel.

I aslo dislike heavily the government of Suadia Arabia and most governments around there. It does NOT mean i hate Muslims or i hated the way the government of Zambwa treated its people does NOT mean i hate black people.

But for some reason disliking the way the government of Isreal acts automatically means we hate jewish people is wrong and should be stamped quickly as it allows Isreal to do the fuck it wants when it wants (assinating people, bombing other nations removing the rights of people stealing and occupying land) how as a country is it ANY different to Iran?

Yet we can condemn one nation but when the other nation does very very similar things we are anti Semitic...
