One of the generals who signed the letter for Hunter is Terry Paul, whose lobbying firm, Cassidy & Associates, has some interesting FARA filings. ......
....... There’s no indication Gen. Paul himself worked on the matter, but it seems worth pointing out that the general has a much closer personal connection to a violent Islamist group than anything referenced in the letter he signed attacking Duncan Hunter’s opponent.

The secretary of state, who just visited the two countries involved in a full blown diplomatic crisis over the disappearance of a journalist and subsequently briefed the president, talked to reporters for roughly three minutes and took two questions. That was it.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo defended himself against criticism that he was too smiley while meeting with the Saudi crown prince and said he advised Trump to give the Saudis a few more days to investigate. But didn’t offer anything else new that I heard.

There does seem to be a serious effort to find Jamal Khashoggi's remains by the Turkish Police, cozie, digging in the KSA Consul garden, tracking the black van outside the city. For the sake of his loved ones I hope they find something.
